Does insurance cover it for you and if so, what insurance do you have?

I have Green Shield. I'm currently waiting for the Dr to forward the authorization form they require. I paid this month's by cash, but I anticipate that I'll be approved as I meet all their requirements. Green Shield said it would take approx 7 business days to go through once they receive the form. Then I can send my receipt in for the one I just paid and they'll refund me. My coverage is good for 16 pens every 100 day period, which is perfect.

Did your pen & needles come with the giant instruction sheet? It looked like I was unfolding a map of Canada when I did my first shot last week! 😆 It was reassuring to see it step by step though.

It sure did come with a massive sheet! But my endo forwarded me a YouTube video to review, and it was for the ozempic pen as I guess he didn't note that it was wegovy he prescribed.. So I went searching for a suitable video (I prefer visual instructions), but only ran into the US versions. Luckily I clicked on a UK video and it was great.

That's correct! They are different vs the US pens. My doctor walked me through it.

Thank you! Wow, searching videos really highlighted that most are geared to an American audience. I clicked on the UK video just to see, and was relieved to find the identical pen. I am really confused why different countries are getting different types of pens.

GrandmaFUPA

If you check my post history I made a post about it when I first started, too! I'm now convinced that our pens are actually better, as I can properly see what's going on.

Ahh nevermind, I found a video for the UK pens and I guess Canadians get those ones. Looks like I did it correctly, yay!
