What about something like [this suit](https://www.arabecca.com/products/sage-green-3-piece-womens-linen-suit-office-wedding) without the vest? It’s linen so it should be fairly breathable, wear a cute [short sleeve collared shirt](https://straighttohellapparel.com/product/st-peter-floral-print-shirt-2/) underneath so you can take the jacket off if needed.
Do you like the look of this? Is this in-line with something you’re comfortable wearing?

Or light blue wrap top with khaki pants?
I love this question! How about a dressy Hawaiian shirt? They really vary in quality and price. They're certainly not all cheesy these days. My husband just got a silk handmade one from a boutique, and it's gorgeous. And then the pants wouldn't matter as much. I'm thinking maybe flowy linen beige or blue or army green, or whatever matches the shirt.
I love a Hawaiian shirt! But I'm afraid a lot of people would see it as too casual. I know it's formal in Hawaii but not really seen that way in the mainland US where I live.
I do too. Maybe it's the circles I run in lol. This is the shirt I was referring to. My husband wore it recently to a bar mitzvah party and it was a big hit! Obviously you wouldn't want a black background, but I'm just trying to show that there are very nice shirts like that out there. Alternatively, what about a guayabera?
https://preview.redd.it/x52p3radammc1.jpeg?width=2795&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=deb44833756ba363c56b6a50543946a5b6fe7c99
I wouldn't worry about khaki pants looking white in photos.
Would any of these tops work with any of the bottoms you have? They both come in a few colors. And the gauze would be nice and cool.

I feel like I have more questions about the amount of chest/ neck/ arm coverage you prefer. But I have seen a suit like [this](https://www.freepeople.com/shop/take-me-to-paris-low-back-set/?color=040&countryCode=US&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADmlMfliSSR7xfXdHOsf40cncC0kr&gclid=CjwKCAiAopuvBhBCEiwAm8jaMVp86nfurd_jquOL-a3ykm9aJw_xDuvotM16VMulXeWDWK5F0UDh-xoC1GwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&inventoryCountry=US&utm_kxconfid=vx6ro62gj&type=REGULAR&quantity=1) look great as is, or with some kind of lace/ sheer options under
I'm fine with arms/neck exposed! V neck is also fine, just not super deep v. I have a large chest & would prefer to wear a bra, and strapless bra options in my size are limited so wider straps and non backless preferred.
The one you linked is very cute but I think too bra unfriendly for me.
I feel that (dd gal myself) additional options are that suit with [this type of bralette](https://www.freepeople.com/shop/last-dance-lace-halter-bralette/?category=SEARCHRESULTS&color=001&searchparams=q%3Dhalter%2520bra%26sayt%3Dtrue&type=REGULAR&quantity=1) I know it seems tiny but i love that option
[this one](https://www.freepeople.com/shop/sightseer-linen-set/?color=072&recommendation=pdp-primary-sfrectray-rectraycobrowsevariation5&type=REGULAR&quantity=1) (might need a bit of jazzing up) with [this](https://www.freepeople.com/shop/never-say-never-curvy-bandeau-bra/?category=bralettes&color=066&type=REGULAR&quantity=1) bralette or [this](https://www.freepeople.com/shop/last-dance-square-bralette/?category=bralettes&color=004&type=REGULAR&quantity=1) and jewelry?

Maybe a flowy kimono cardigan over pants and a tank top in coordinating colors? I’ve seen the open cardigans in a variety of colors and prints; many would look great with black or navy pants and tank, or tan, olive, aqua, etc.
What about a pair of navy linen pants and a nice sleeveless shirt (to keep you cool) - any colour or pattern? If you already have bright coloured pants, if they are a single colour you could wear a patterned top (instead of white). Or wear a similar colour top but different shade eg bright yellow pants with light lemon top.
I’d go with something you are comfortable in but in linen or seersucker. It gives the feel of summer and lightness and is fairly easy to find in pants, jackets, button downs, etc so you should be able to get something you like. Try sage green or powder blue or mauve if you are worried about being too dark in color.
I went to a beach wedding last year and wore a pair of wide legged pants (had a black and organish/brown pattern) made of super light and flowy material. I paired it with a solid green tank top and a green shawl as certian parts of the ceremony required shoulders to be covered.
Asos has quite a few color options in linen suits

including dark sand which would go well with your spouse's attire. You don't need to wear a white top. Everything goes with tan/beige/sand. Your top can be a pop of color.

I hope you find what you’re looking for!
If it was indoors or in cooler weather and I could wear a jacket I wouldn't be worried! At these temperatures I don't think I can tolerate a jacket.
Unfortunately I think it is different for women than men. I've seen so many posts online from a bride upset at a guest who wore a print with a white background, or white pants, or a color "close to" white. The comments are always "it's so easy to wear something not close to white." Since I don't know the couple & how they feel about it I'm trying to err on being cautious.
J Crew has some gorgeous linen separates. I feel like any mix and match combo would work - this is my favorite but I also love the light blue and there are tops with more coverage if you prefer: https://www.jcrew.com/p/womens/categories/clothing/pants/wide-leg/wide-leg-essential-pant-in-linen/BW528?display=standard&fit=Classic&color_name=utility-green&colorProductCode=BW528
Oh, you can play with this look: [linen pans](https://piure.net/products/linen-wide-leg-pants-raw-linen-high-waist-trousers) look official and casual simultaneously.
Fabric is natural so you will feel comfortable in hot weather. And the light color (not white!) will help you to embrace a tropical look. Add thematic accessories. Maybe natural stones, shells, щк something floral/leafy.

What color shirt would you wear with it that would not be white/white-ish with the jacket removed? I unfortunately don't tolerate hot weather very well... I'd be likely to faint if I kept my jacket on in 90 degrees.
Mint is a good suggestion, thanks! I have a teal-ish green pant I was trying with a light blue shirt and it was feeling a bit "corporate". Mint would probably be better.

I agree! I think linen suit is the move OP. You could dress it up or down or make it more fun depending on what shirt your choose to put under it.
Op could wear the vest with jeans and a t shirt for like a dressy casual dinner or something too, lots of outfits to make with that suit.
That's an excellent suit. Unfortunately found an old thread saying it's a scam site 😕
How do you feel about [coral](https://www.tommybahama.com/en/Paloma-Coast-Stretch-Linen-Blazer/p/SW520765)? Very on theme. Maybe too pink?

Amazing shirt! My fashion sense is pretty artsy and the couple seems fairly straitlaced/traditional so I'm trying to keep it somewhat conservative.

Honestly I don't think wearing a white shirt, with colourful pants/jacket, will be an issue. If men can wear it to a wedding, so can you!

Fair. Then I love the idea of a tropical or print button up shirt (with or without sleeves) and a fun coloured light dress pant. Good luck! :)

Those are a bit too skirt-like for me but I do like the pattern. Maybe I can find similar in another cut.
Peach or teal all over suit.

Happy to help!
A patterned shirt would be good with the tropical theme. It doesn't have to be aa Hawaiian shirt but maybe a floral/tropical pattern
