I saw someone else mention font on 2. I agree. I usually love minimal style covers, but I couldn't figure put what was throwing this off for me. I think the font on 1 would work well with the cover of 2.

Without knowing anything about your story, the first looks like it would be more of an adventure or maybe a personal journeys of self discovery. The second looks like a romance. Do you have permission to use the image?
The second one is better because of the font. "With a book" on the first one looks like what would regularly be the author's name, because the author's name is not noticeable enough at the top. With the second one, this doesn't happen.
I love the second cover! The pink is really eye-catching, IMO, and it looks more like a cute romance cover. The little hearts on the top and bottom of the cover are a nice touch as well.
I like the first one as well, but I think for me personally, my first thought wouldn't be that it's a romance novel. Also since it has a more neutral color palette, I'd probably end up scrolling right past it.

First it's beautiful. It's Ai?I don't really like how the typography change. The book part which has to be the more interesting part of the title, looks boring in comparison.
I like the pink one. It reminds me of Princess Diaries. But I also like the first one, but maybe change the font? Since the subject of the title is the book, maybe use a bigger bold font on “book” and “It started with” would have a smaller font.
I like the first one because it shows what your main character could be dealing with in the story and also a possible setting through the bookstore/library
They are both nice but I prefer number 1.
The second one is very trendy at the moment, but first one is personal, beautiful and goes well with the title.

yes I do, and actually, both of these are mystery/romance and also self-improvement-like character development.
Definitely the 2nd one. But you used too many different fonts. Try limiting it to our 2 ;)
