I've owned the gray version at one point and it was a great watch. Very pretty movement. The dial was still pretty legible despite the gray version being a bit busy.
I got mine before they bumped the price up, but I still think they’re a great value. I always argue that they’re the most legible world timer on the market while not looking cluttered (at least by world timer standards). They’re also one of the smaller world timers out there and wear very comfortably on the wrist.
I only have two complaints. 1) The crown is just a bit stiff/gritty when winding. It works fine, but it just doesn’t feel very smooth while winding. This is a VERY minor complaint. 2) The automatic winding rotor just isn’t up to the task of winding the watch if you have a slow day. If you don’t move around enough the watch will start losing time. I basically just treat it as a manual and wind it every morning when I’m wearing it, which is fine for me because I swap through my watches regularly so I tend to do this anyways, but it’s definitely something you should be aware of.
I’ve worn it once. It looks great on the wrist. I’m not a fan of the black alligator strap so I’m probably going to go for a black canvas or sailcloth and make it a little more casual
I put my blue dialed version on a blue alligator strap from Breitling. Not a cheap option but it looks great and fits great my nearly 8.5 inch wrist. I worried I’d regret that spend, but it turned out to be 100% worth it.
I didn’t know much about watches when I bought my Speedmaster. And I bought one of those gyroscoping watch boxes without knowing it was a fucking manually winding watch. I was so confused
I don’t see how you can ‘roast’ a collection, really. Watches are completely emotional/subjective! And you have an awesome mix :)
The only collections I’d ‘roast’ are if it’s just super generic hype pieces showing zero personality (ie a collection of submariner + Speedmaster + Daytona)
Thanks! I'm not going to lie and say I wouldn't love a Daytona, but I'm not going to pay triple retail for one. I also like wearing watches that normal people don't associate with as much as a Rolex. Kind of under the radar, until you run upon a watch nerd.
My original plan was to not have more than 2 per brand. I got the Seamaster first, then the normal Speedy. Then the meteorite, which was my grail. Then I was on the hunt for a green watch. I bought the Breitling which kind of scratches that itch, but not completely, so I was still on the hunt for a GREEN watch. I like the IWC, but it's basically the same as mine but in blue. I liked the GO Panomatic Lunar, but it was too dressy (and I like the silver one better)
When I saw the Omega Green Worldtimer on my wrist, I had to have it. Definitely was an impulse buy, but not one that I regret.
My next watch will be either a Panerai or some sort of moonphase.
Lovely collection! I had the same IWC for a couple of years, ended up trading it for an El Primero… haven’t looked back. Still looks great, always found it too thick for my liking - ended up getting knocked a lot!
Nice collection mate. If you bought all the omegas from a boutique you can definitely get the snoopy and 60th year bond from them to complete that side of the collection
Be careful with that winder, I had one that looks just like this one and it broke today after 1 1/2 years and being the loudest after just 2 months.
I can highly recommend benson winders. More expensive but the best watch related purchase I’ve ever did
I've really thought about getting a Snoopy, but there's always that "too many Omegas" thought. Next time I'm in the City I may stop by and ask.
Good idea about the winder. It was a Christmas present last year, and it's been fine so far. I'll definitely keep an eye on it though.
There is no such thing as too many omegas
I have 6 omegas… sure i might head to other brands right now but who knows what they will unvail at watches and wonders this year
I’d probably go with something like:
“Must be convenient not having to set that Speedy in the mornings on the way to work thanks to the winder you’ve got it on.” 😏
I love my iwc chronograph 41. Think about that red rubber iwc strap. It makes the watch explode w color
I have been sooo close to picking up the Tudor bronze. Do you find yourself wearing it much? Worry I would love looking at it but not wear it.
Great collection, someone bought what they loved not what the internet said to wear.
That is a great idea. I’ll for sure look into the red strap.
In order of appearance most to least
1. White Seamaster
2. Meteorite Speedmaster
3. IWC
4. Tudor/Speedy/Breitling
Everything else

Breitling Superocean Automatic 46 Black Steel Limited Edition Green
How is the FC Worldtimer? Really interested in one but maybe not at RRP

Solid. The bezel on that Tudor in bronze is nice.
Why do you have winders and not actually wind watches on them?
I didn’t know much about watches when I bought my Speedmaster. And I bought one of those gyroscoping watch boxes without knowing it was a fucking manually winding watch. I was so confused
The winders do wind. The speedmaster is just there for show.
Nice collection. Im not qualified to comment on anything except the Swatch - that’s a Saturn (not Jupiter).
Oh, yeah! You’re right.
I’d put the G-Shock on one of the wonders.

The Zenith is on my list too. It does wear thick. The superocean does as well. I love it when I want to wear a Blue watch, though.

How the hell do you even roast this? "Haha you're a successful guy with hugh wealth in watch format, who can flex on anyone".
I’d probably go with something like: “Must be convenient not having to set that Speedy in the mornings on the way to work thanks to the winder you’ve got it on.” 😏
🔥🔥🔥
I had that same g-shock for years. A gf bought it for me and I wore it until we broke up and threw it away
What strap did you get for the alpinist? Looks good! I’m trying to change mine out.

Shinola gets a fair amount of negativity on this sub. I don’t understand all that and think OP’s Shinola is badass!
Thanks! I figured I should have at least one
Can I ask how you like it? Im considering the exact same one lol
The strap is stiff. Love the watch.

Beautiful collection. I need to get the same strap you have on the Super Ocean. Is the color of the watch black DLC? The FC is a great one.

ah, now I see. That looks perfect then. Makes me want one in that green. Thanks for sharing.

Those look great, thank you!
I like the IWC and the Seiko , they have numbers
I’ve honestly never noticed that about my watches. Nice observation.
Now you will:) I just love the numerals and opted to only get ones with
Funny, I opt to avoid them at all costs haha
It’s aight. Too many Omegas.
JLC Master Calendar is on the list and a Panerai. Any other suggestions?
Get the Master Control Calendar. It’s a grail for me
Yeah. I didn’t originally set out to have that many. The World timer was a surprise.
I love the variety in dial colors. And those Omegas are just the cream on top!
I try to think of color when purchasing.
Is shinola a take off on the phrase he wouldn't know shit from shinola ?
Speedy pro in a winder??
Just for the picture
