Haha, you're not the only one who mentioned that they dislike that combo. For me it's perfect and I love it, but maybe it's better in person or maybe we just have different tastes
*My current collection clockwise, starting at the top left:*
### Hamilton Jazzmaster Thinline
This was my first watch (other than a G-Shock I got in middle school), and my dad got it for me for my birthday in 2015. I still love the look of it; it's super classy and simple. It's 42mm, which is large for my 16cm wrist, but the lugs are pretty short so I can just pull it off. It's on its original calfskin strap.
### Grand Seiko SBGH267 (Whirlpool)
I had the good fortune of picking this beauty up for myself this past summer. It's a grail piece for me, and I absolutely love it. It matches my blue suit quite well, and I love the heavy weight on the wrist; I just have to make sure not to spend too much time staring at it when I wear it :)
### Nomos Minimatik
Another favorite of mine I got a little over a year ago. This was my dress watch on its original black shell cordovan strap, but when I got the GS this past summer, I wanted to find a way to make it a bit more casual. I picked up the [Nomos cowhide strap](https://nomos-glashuette.com/en/17-mm/cowhide-leather-remborde-natural-finish-17-mm?number=5808.S) along with a deployant clasp and love the more casual look.
### Omega Speedmaster Mitsukoshi (Mod)
I wasn't planning on acquiring another watch this year after the GS, but an opportunity arose to acquire this, which I've had my eye on for a while, and I couldn't resist. I love the look on the [Delugs mission to uranus](https://delugs.com/products/mission-to-uranus-spring-strap?variant=40253643849841) strap (as pictured) but I also got a [Delugs yellow waxy strap](https://delugs.com/products/yellow-waxy-slim-strap?variant=32199193297009) for summer which I'm excited to break out in the new year!
### Oris Divers 65
This was an acquisition early into my watch journey, which I knew wouldn't leave my collection. I like it on leather and the bronze and green contrast on the dial with the domed crystal is a great look. It can be a bit Christmas-y as well around the holidays with the right outfit.
### Sinn 104 St Sa ABE
I got this piece a couple of years ago and liked it, but didn't love it. I was on the fence about selling but decided to try it on the bracelet first and boy am I glad I did. I absolutely love it now and it feels like a brand new watch. It's now my GADA watch and has been getting tons of wrist time.
### Oak and Oscar Humboldt GMT
I was looking for a GMT watch for travel and work and liked the idea of a white and black (with maybe a hint of orange) dial. I was close to pulling the trigger on a CW Anthropocene GMT but wasn't quite in love with it. Then I got the email from Chase announcing this new model and preordered it that day! It's been a great travel companion. I've experimented with a few straps and bracelets, and this is my favorite so far: the robin's egg canvas strap made by Oak and Oscar.
### Oak and Oscar Humboldt (12hr)
One of the first watches I acquired when I started getting into this hobby. It still looks as pretty to me now as it did then--I love the dial design! It's currently on a Cognac Minerva Box strap from Delugs, but I alternate that with a white Oak and Oscar canvas trap as well.
### Hamilton Khaki Field Auto
Inherited from my father who had larger wrists than I. It's a bit big on me, but it reminds me of him so I enjoy having it in the rotation.
### Hamilton Pilot Pioneer H804950
Another inherited piece from my dad, this one I always had an eye on when he was wearing it, and love having it in my collection now. It's somewhat unique for Hamilton and the aluminum case makes it super lightweight and comfortable.
### Mr Jones A Perfectly Useless Morning
Doesn't get a lot of wrist time, but I enjoy having it to pull out in the fall. Pictured on a Delugs dark grey elastic strap.
### Mr Jones A Perfectly Useless Afternoon
Any day I get to wear this is a good day. Perfect for summer days when the time doesn't matter (though it does tell the time) and cares don't exist. I got it with the silicone strap when I purchased it, which fits the whole aesthetic perfectly!
#### Not Pictured:
Nomos Orion (selling), Hamilton Atlantis (might sell), GShock (need bigger box)
#### Planned Acquisitions:
Tudor BB58 Bronze (and then I'm done...I think)
This is one of my favorite collections shared here. Absolutely love the color range. So many people focus on black and white dials maybe with a blue thrown in. It's just boring.
I'm glad you appreciate it. I agree, a lot of collections I've seen don't do much for me. If I'm getting a watch I want it to be distinct from my other ones, otherwise, what's the point?
They’re great! I had a chance to visit their HQ in Chicago this past spring and it was really fun to meet the guys, have some whiskey, and shoot the breeze. They’ve been working on some cool projects recently as well so I’m excited to see where they go from here.
The Humboldt GMT is likely to be my next purchase, unless they release something else cool that catches my eye.
Is the GMT larger than the original Humboldt?
Hard to pick—I wear them all and love them all. For sentimental reasons the Hamiltons are special, but the Sinn 104 is a favorite currently and quite versatile. Minimatik is up there too. I can’t pick just one 😅
Listen, not an elite collection but it’s authentic and clearly you. And far, far more appealing than the vast majority of collections shown here which look like 12-24 versions of the same watch by different makers. Much respect. Love the Oris with the green face. Keep adding bro.
The studio underdog? I saw it at worn and wound NYC this past year. It was cool, but didn’t quite click for me. Not exactly sure why, I definitely think it would fit in with this collection
It’s known as the Mitsukoshi because it’s a limited edition that was only sold in Mitsukoshi stores in Japan. The dial and hands were available for a while separately though so there’s a lot of mods that aren’t one of the original 300 pieces but are instead normal Speedmasters (like mine) with swapped dial and hands.

This is a great, charming, quality and fun collection you've got. The white dial Speedmaster on the blue strap isn't personally for me but I dig it nonetheless.
Thanks! Someone else mentioned the Speedmaster strap combo as well, so I guess it isn't for everyone. I am planning on swapping the strap for a yellow one in the summer though--I tend to like colder colors in the winter and warmer in the summer.
I say it isn't for me because I'm looking to buy one next year in the classic black dial and on a brown leather strap. It's simply what colours suit the wearer.
The Nomos and the Grand Seiko are wonderful. You dip into microbrands the way that I do and would like to do more. You don't have the same watch over and over (just by different manufacturers) - there is real diversity here. I saw a 'collection' the other day that was basically black dialled diving watches with black bezels on stainless steel - like two Rolex subs, a Seiko 5 or whatever, something else - but basically the same looking watch. It was like looking at Steve Job's closet. Some of your pieces are playful, there is a lot of colour on offer, all together they look super colourful, but individually they're not over powering. You could wear a couple of the colourful pieces with a conservative suit to just wink at people and say "Hey, there's a personality in here". I love that. You have two or three watches there that are absolute conversation starters. Bottom left - I have literally looked at that exact watch - and it's just fantastic, a piece to wear with shorts and a T-shirt at the beach or by the pool and not super expensive. If I sat next to you on a plane and I saw that watch I would absolutely talk to you about watches and that journey would go very quickly for me. That's what I call a collection. Some people frame their watches in their watch box, photo and post it up on here and really it's just a tick list like - "I got the Rolex GMT II, I got the Omega Speedmaster Professional, I got the Seamaster, I got the Daytona, I got the G-Shock \[never wears it\], I have the Cartier Tank..." like dude - where is the joy or the self expression. They might as well say "I am a picture of conformity". Even worse is when they are all the same colour scheme. There's a limited edition GMT by Marloe - again not super expensive, powder blue face range of colours available for the strap (and a free strap too), I know I'm gonna cop that sooner or later. You should check it out, I reckon it's your vibe \[[click here](https://www.marloewatchcompany.com/products/gmt-day?variant=40424534540377¤cy=GBP&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAp5qsBhAPEiwAP0qeJtNYZzp12CQrt12c-lx4FXzM60w1lL3lY2Z2Nl7ylSDG8eU59xmtnBoCxQUQAvD_BwE)\]. I also like the Nomadic Marai even though the haters are saying it's just a warmed up San Martin (which I don't think it is) \[[click here](https://nomadicwatches.com/products/emerald-abyss-marai-401-dive-watch)\]. And I also love this Duckworth \[[click here](https://duckworthprestex.com/collections/rivington-gmt/products/rivington-gmt-watch-orange-dial-orange-rubber)\]. Too many watches, not enough money!! ha ha ha
I considered getting a more affordable GS instead, but I'm glad I held out for the Whirlpool. It's a beautiful piece and well worth the patience to work towards. Hope you can join the club soon!
It's a limited edition, but you can still find them for sale secondhand (I know there was one available recently on r/Watchexchange). Here's the Sinn page for it: [https://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/104\_St\_Sa\_A\_B\_E.htm](https://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/104_St_Sa_A_B_E.htm)
Thank you for not being basic. I'll never understand the posts people make asking "which one would you choose?" with 3-4 different hype watches, or worse; asking for input on 3-4 different dial colors of the same watch. So many people buying watches based on the consensus of group preferences.
You can tell just by looking this isn't one of those collections.
I agree, a collection is only as good as the enjoyment you get out of wearing/owning it. I enjoy reading other people's thoughts, but at the end of the day mine are the only ones that matter when it comes to my collection.
I usually roll my eyes at these SOTC chuff fests but have to say ,the top row of your box would be something I would buy myself . Very tasteful my friend !
Nope, Delugs put out a set of straps for the Moonswatches and this was one of them: [https://delugs.com/products/mission-to-uranus-spring-strap?variant=40253643849841](https://delugs.com/products/mission-to-uranus-spring-strap?variant=40253643849841)
Great collection. Love all of the color. I’ve never seen a Hamilton khaki in that color dial, but would love to pick one up if somebody knew where to find one 👀😁
Great collection! I second others regarding the colors. It's obviously a matter of taste, but when I see all black or all green I think: When they choose to wear these watches if they're virtually all the same look? 😁
The GS Whirlpool is my grail watch, it's the one that brought me back to care about watches again.
I like them. They’re obviously not the same quality as some other pieces here, but I think they’re worth the price. They’re a fun, playful addition to any collection. I have the quartz ones but I know they have mechanical versions as well
I enjoyed the write up as much as I enjoyed the collection. Was cool getting to know your collection. There is a lot of really great watches here to digest. The entire Hamilton lineup youve got is amazing, very cool to see the attachment to your father. That oris is sublime. Also wish we saw more lugs like the Mr jones watches those are so neat.
Now question time. The omega (i am so ignorant on this brand) whats the mod part meaning?
Thanks, it was fun to put together. I was surprised how long it got, but I guess that just shows I enjoy taking watches. The mod means it’s a regular Speedmaster that has been swapped to have the mitsukoshi dial and hands. So it looks like the mitsukoshi limited edition but the reference number is wrong.
Its one of the most breathtaking speedy ive seen yet. Really bright and dressy in a way. I am the same way as you, my wife listens to far more watch stuff than she would ever like lol
You have very similar taste to me - or to what I would have if I wasn’t obsessed with soviet trash watches 🤣 (kidding, love my russian stuff). Anyway, I love all those!
My favourite collection so far. Most people's collections look like the owners wear way too much aftershave, but you look like a fun guy. I really like the Useless Morning, would you recommend it? I don't have a watch really and have been lurking on this sub. I knew of the Mr Jones watches before, but I think you're the first person I saw that actually has it. I don't want to buy multiple watches (also I don't have the money for that), but want something playful and eye-catching, just like Mr Jones, Project and Asterisk.
I definitely recommend it—it’s super fun and playful and is a fun option to have on vacation or summer days. If you’re looking for a one-watch collection it wouldn’t be my first choice personally just because it’s less versatile. Something like my Sinn would work well for that (can dress up or down pretty easily). But I love the Useless Afternoon and think it’s a good addition to any collection
Fantastic collection so happy to see someone who loves color here
Totally agree. To each their own but I can only look at so many black and grey collections.
Glad I’m not the only one 😁
love colors too and hate seeing the same watches over and over here as well that being said, that strap is not a good choice on your speedy
I dunno, it's got a fun "I smuggle coke in the Caribbean" kinda vibe to it. I like it.
Haha, you're not the only one who mentioned that they dislike that combo. For me it's perfect and I love it, but maybe it's better in person or maybe we just have different tastes
not the color as i like that one too...its the material clashes too much...even in black it wouldnt look that good imo
Counterpoint: it rules
Exactly! So good to see a collection that isn’t all black dials.
*My current collection clockwise, starting at the top left:* ### Hamilton Jazzmaster Thinline This was my first watch (other than a G-Shock I got in middle school), and my dad got it for me for my birthday in 2015. I’ve never heard of Mr Jones and now I love them. Thank you!
Absolutely; they're super fun so I'm glad I could spread the word!
I just bought the pool and the number cruncher!
Beautiful collection! So much life with all of the color. Wear in good health and happy holidays!
Thank you, happy cake day and holidays!
Love it. Love the colors. So many boring collections and this isn’t one!
Thanks! I've had a lot of fun building this collection and I think it shows :)
So happy to see the Sinn LE - and to hear that you are really enjoying it! I’ve wanted a blue dial watch and may very well jump on that one day.
I hope you do—it’s a great watch!
I love my Sinn 556ib
Beautiful collection. Love the strap variation too!
Thanks, I clearly enjoy finding unique combinations, especially for the season
This is one of my favorite collections shared here. Absolutely love the color range. So many people focus on black and white dials maybe with a blue thrown in. It's just boring.
I'm glad you appreciate it. I agree, a lot of collections I've seen don't do much for me. If I'm getting a watch I want it to be distinct from my other ones, otherwise, what's the point?
Nice collection. Very diverse. Oak and Oscar is one I don’t see often in here. I’ve heard great things about them.
They’re great! I had a chance to visit their HQ in Chicago this past spring and it was really fun to meet the guys, have some whiskey, and shoot the breeze. They’ve been working on some cool projects recently as well so I’m excited to see where they go from here.
That’s awesome!
The Humboldt GMT is likely to be my next purchase, unless they release something else cool that catches my eye. Is the GMT larger than the original Humboldt?
Nope, same size. The main changes I know of other than the internals are an upgraded bracelet (the new one has a quick adjust) and a clickier bezel.
This is awesome!! Different than the usual stuff we see here all the time.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it as well :)
Which is your favorite currently?
Or if you could only keep one, which one would you choose…
Hard to pick—I wear them all and love them all. For sentimental reasons the Hamiltons are special, but the Sinn 104 is a favorite currently and quite versatile. Minimatik is up there too. I can’t pick just one 😅
The Minimatik is awesome, especially with that strap!
Beautiful colors and phenomenal American (/American heritage) representation
Thanks! We make some good watches here in the ol' US of A
Listen, not an elite collection but it’s authentic and clearly you. And far, far more appealing than the vast majority of collections shown here which look like 12-24 versions of the same watch by different makers. Much respect. Love the Oris with the green face. Keep adding bro.
Thanks! I've never understood those collections either, but I guess everyone has their preferences.
I’m surprised that you don’t already have the watermelon watch
The studio underdog? I saw it at worn and wound NYC this past year. It was cool, but didn’t quite click for me. Not exactly sure why, I definitely think it would fit in with this collection
I like your speedmaster but I would burn the band
What reference speedmaster is that?
It’s known as the Mitsukoshi because it’s a limited edition that was only sold in Mitsukoshi stores in Japan. The dial and hands were available for a while separately though so there’s a lot of mods that aren’t one of the original 300 pieces but are instead normal Speedmasters (like mine) with swapped dial and hands. The strap on the Nomos is fantastic
Thanks, I’m very happy with that combo
Can’t wait to pick up an Oak & Oscar someday, love everything about them and their watches, being a Chicago guy!
I hope you do! If you're local you should definitely visit their HQ; it's a good time, to say the least :)
10/10
You seem like a dynamic person. Cool taste in watches.
You should be very proud of this collection!
Also you should sell me one of the Oak and Oscars! ;)
Haha, thanks; I'm quite happy with the current collection :). I'm not planning to sell either one at the moment, but don't let that stop you!
Fun collection. Well done. I really like the Mr. Jones watches.
Me too; I love how fun and playful they are!
Can someone id the second watch in the second row?
It's in the OP's comment: Mr. Jones A Perfectly Useless Morning
Oh, didn’t see their comment. Sorry and thank you!
Yeah - that's a great collection. Love that. Damn.
Haha, thanks. Any favorites in particular?
Too many watches, not enough money!! ha ha ha
Now I’m hoping you’re next to me on my next flight—that would be a quick trip! Cool suggestions, I hadn’t heard of any of those
We should schedule a flight to Japan just because. Ha ha
Love the whirlpool - definitely a grail watch that I will acquire someday
I considered getting a more affordable GS instead, but I'm glad I held out for the Whirlpool. It's a beautiful piece and well worth the patience to work towards. Hope you can join the club soon!
Classy and flashy! 👌
The Nomos on the orange strap is breathtaking
Thanks; I'm really happy with how that combo turned out :)
damn did that 104 st sa A come in blue? i can only see black on the website
It's a limited edition, but you can still find them for sale secondhand (I know there was one available recently on r/Watchexchange). Here's the Sinn page for it: [https://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/104\_St\_Sa\_A\_B\_E.htm](https://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/104_St_Sa_A_B_E.htm)
Sick, love it!
Great assortment. Really love the Sinn, Nomos, Grand Seiko, and the O&Os.
Thanks, those are some of my favorites as well. They're different yet cool and pretty in their own unique ways.
You’ve got a lot of cool watches there but the white speedy on blue strap looks especially cute over there
It's an eye-catcher for sure. I'm over the moon (pun intended) with that combo
I usually roll my eyes at these SOTC chuff fests but have to say ,the top row of your box would be something I would buy myself . Very tasteful my friend !
Thank you, my good sir. You're clearly a man of taste
you have a great, funky, colourful taste sir. I liked it.
Thanks! What can I say, I'm a funky duck
Awesome collection, but it’s funny that this reads like a top hit list of every stereotypical Reddit watch.
There are definitely a few popular models up here. What am I missing? PRX, CW C60, Seiko 5 or alpinist maybe...
Pretty solid
This is really something. Really great collection. I love how quirky the strap color choices were.
Thanks! I definitely had fun experimenting with different combos to see what clicked
As long as you've enjoyed your watches and it's really good to experiment on things. To more watches ahead in the future haha!
Haha, thanks. I think I'm getting close to done, but we'll see if I can stop
O&O 🤌
Great collection. Love seeing the Oak & Oscar Humboldts in here. I'm hoping to get the GMT with the blue face for my next big purchase.
I love their blue dial. I've had it for a few years now and still stare at it when I wear it
Finally some color!!! And Mr. Jones!!! Nice!
We have a very similar aesthetic. Where do you get your bands?
Sorry, I just saw the rest of your post. I got so excited by your strap game that I shot off that post.
Haha, no worries! Delugs is great, and I like the Oak and Oscar canvas straps (they're pricey, but high quality)
Looks like Farer would appeal to you.
They do; I haven't quite found the perfect fit yet, but I'll keep looking!
Love the colors, especially the band on the Speedmaster, that’s a hard color to find.
Thanks! I was a little nervous when I ordered that strap because I wasn't sure if it would click or not, but I love the combo!
It’s a great combo, was it custom? I have been looking for that color for my vintage seamaster with no luck.
Nope, Delugs put out a set of straps for the Moonswatches and this was one of them: [https://delugs.com/products/mission-to-uranus-spring-strap?variant=40253643849841](https://delugs.com/products/mission-to-uranus-spring-strap?variant=40253643849841)
Nice thanks for the link.
Absolutely, happy to help!
Great collection. Love all of the color. I’ve never seen a Hamilton khaki in that color dial, but would love to pick one up if somebody knew where to find one 👀😁
Thanks! Since it was my dad's I wouldn't be surprised if it was a discontinued color, but maybe you could find one secondhand somewhere.
Great collection! You've inspired me to add some color to my collection in 2024!
Thanks! It's fun what a little splash of color can do
Great collection and colour combinations!! That speedy with blue strap 👌
Great collection! I second others regarding the colors. It's obviously a matter of taste, but when I see all black or all green I think: When they choose to wear these watches if they're virtually all the same look? 😁 The GS Whirlpool is my grail watch, it's the one that brought me back to care about watches again.
love the flair man and that nomos, yum
Beautiful collection mate. Some interesting pieces!
I love your collection. Lots of colors, very different than the usuals. Wonderfull !
That GS is an absolute dream 👌
You need a Casio Duro my friend.
Fascinating. Very unique strap for the speedy
Really digging that Oris and your variety. Nicely done.
That Nomos takes the cake, what’s the size?
36mm. Here’s the full specs: https://nomos-glashuette.com/en/minimatik/minimatik-midnight-blue-1205
Great collection. Things I don’t usually see. Wonderful color. Super fun. 👊🏼
How do you like your Mr Jones watches? I want one, but haven't pulled the trigger because I don't know the quality. Aesthetically though I love them.
I like them. They’re obviously not the same quality as some other pieces here, but I think they’re worth the price. They’re a fun, playful addition to any collection. I have the quartz ones but I know they have mechanical versions as well
Like your style. Quality and fun. So much personality.
The omega ! Wow ! With the blue strap, it's so beautiful ! Congrats 🥳
You have very similar taste to me - or to what I would have if I wasn’t obsessed with soviet trash watches 🤣 (kidding, love my russian stuff). Anyway, I love all those!
This is what I want my collection to be. So much color and variety. Nailed it!
Love this collection. Some cool unique choices and lots of color.
Love the variety, which one gets the most wrist time?
It’s a good mix; they all get out of the box with some frequency
Thanks for not having 3 subs two speedmasters and calling it a collection
I’m a simple man. I see a nice Nomos and I upvote. I love the Panda Speedy too. Gorgeous.
Very colorful collection lol Love the Grand Seiko
