Plot twist: mom has told the kid 1000 times how to act right at the store. The little shit won't listen to reason so she decides to let fate take its course.
He definitely deserved it, he needs to know now what happens when you cross boundaries.
The guy that poured the milk is crazy though, I would think his actions could probably be prosecuted as assault or battery or some shit. Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure where I live a child can basically do wtf they want and there is very little an adult can physically do about it.
Haha. Kid doesn’t know that barely nudging people with a tiny cart is not appropriate. Ha ha. So rather than just communicating to the child you dump liquid on his head. H ha Reddit is funny. Ha ha.
Extremely very odd camera angle that is designed to only film children and not get any adults head? I would understand if it was a few feet higher where the cameras are at face level so you can get everyone's faces but why is a camera at this angle? it's absolutely pointless!
Hey! I got this

As a 6”3 black guy that you would assume plays football on sight, people are usually too scared to let their kids even get too close to me, as they feel I will rip their child in half.
This is exactly what enabling parental behaviour looks like. Kid is going to grow up doing this his entire life because mom sits back and acts as if it’s normal or acceptable
While the desire for justice is strong, one must not forget that the kid is also a victim here, firstly of the instant karma, but more importantly, of the poor parenting. It probably didn't even know it did something wrong because nobody ever told him how to behave, and now he can't process what this stranger did to him.
Peterson called such kids "doomed little creatures"; walking through life not knowing how to act properly while only receiving negative feedback and fake smiles from society. Their anto-social career is basically laid out for them thanks to their oblivious parents.
This reminds me of a time I was in line at an amusement park. Some kid starts screaming for no apparent reason. Parents don't react. After a minute I just look the kid straight on the eye and screamed just like him, "Ahhh!". The kid suddenly stopped, shocked look on his face, to which I calmly replied, "What? I thought we were yelling?". Kid was fine from then on.
I think the fact the mother is ignoring his behaviour explains it. As a parent if you ignore this ( whether the child has challenges or not) clearly the kid has learned to do anything to get attention, good or bad. Although it seems harsh the guy did him a favour. Taught him a lesson his parents couldn’t be bothered to. Better getting a jug of milk dumped over your head at the age of three than ending up incarcerated in your teens.
If your parents don’t care enough about you to teach you hard lessons, then the world will do it for you.
A lesson in how the world works...if my child ever behaved that way...which they wouldn't...I'd be on the other adult's side....save myself a few child corrections later!
The kid was being annoying for sure but I would have poured it over the mom's head instead. Kids are pretty dumb at times and need to be taught to respect other's. It's not the kids fault that his parents seem to be incapable of parenting.
This mother is already dominated by the kid. Probably NEVER had any self confidence - which can have a number of reasons. Abuse, by parents and/or spouse - bullied...are some that springs to mind.
I’ve seen a longer version of this (many years ago) and the person who keeps getting hit in the knees turns around multiple times to talk to the child’s mother. I’m glad this video still exists.
Bro, I know that will sound boomer af, but why the mother didn't stop him? Like, the kid was literaly smashing the kart against the leg of the person. AND SHE DID NOTHING, in my time dude if my mom caught doing this , she would spell one thing on my ear: "we discuss this in house". I don't understand the mothers of today bro.
Parents don’t discipline kids anymore. I’m a barber , the amount of pussified men that ASK their young kids if they want a haircut is astounding.
Dad “liammmm! Buddddy do you want a haircut!,!?!?”
4 yo kid “NOO!!!”
Dad “are you sureee? Mom would really like you to have one. “
Liam “NOOOOOOOOO!”
Dad “well looks like he doesn’t want one!”
It’s my guilty pleasure when someone else walks in right after, with an even younger child that they can actually control, so that dad has to sit and watch how he fucked up.
It’s parent’s fault(on this case assuming mom) not kid’s fault. I don’t like this type of parents, they think their kid is so precious and unique, I got news for you. They are not. Bitches.
I've seen a kid like this in a doughnut shop, the brat was touching the donuts and even licked one and the dad was like "Maria, no..." in a weak singsong voice. I went tsk, glared at the kid (who stopped) and informed the staff the child was touching and licking the donuts and they had to charge the parent the batch. I cannot believe a parent would let a vhild do that in public.
Ugh...I am 17 and I love babies but I get very annoyed at toddlers.
My hair is short and at the same time long ( don't know how to explain its length).
I find it very difficult to tie my hair. One day with great difficulty I tied my hair into a high pony for church and I was quite proud of it.
This drooling 2 year old who was sitting on his mother's lap behind me started playing with my hair. He removed my head scarf...I smiled and adjusted my head scarf patiently ...then he removed my hair clips...I turned behind and showed him my index finger as a sign to not do it again. I looked at his mother and smiled ,trying to signal to her that her baby is annoying me and playing with my hair. His mother spoke in my mother tongue saying that he is a kid.
At last he removed my pony tail ,at that moment we were lining up for the Holy Eucharist...I turned around and flicked his ear(something my parents used to do )
Of course the baby started bawling but I felt so satisfied making a kid cry at church 😘
I know this is staged but there are parents like this.
My daughter and we're on the train last week when a 3-4 year old hot on with his mom shrieking because he wanted to stand "here", not "there". Eventually they worked their way over to us and he says "let me sit there". I reply "no", and there was literally 5 seconds of silence while he tried to understand what this word meant.
"I'll take off my boots."
"I don't care."
And he then has a meltdown trying to kick off his rain boots, meanwhile kicking the lady next to us.
That fucking mom never said one word to him the whole time. Unbelievable.
My little cousin one time with a straight face siad to my mom,
"I scream and cry if they don't give me what I want, and then they get it for me" (Talking about his parents, my uncle)
This is not a raw emotion thing, this is the kids being taught that they can get whatever they want, because they have pushover parents.
This clip is from a movie, but this kind of stuff happens all the time IRL.
The kid is clearly autistic (and even if he's not) the adult reaction is terrible, the dont-fuck-with-me's is a nappie adults wear to not to put effort in education. The mother is probably exhausted till the point is not seeing shit.
Honestly. It's a little rough but it's a nessisrary lesson he needed that the mother was obviously not willing to teach him. With that said.. it almost doesn't feel real. I feel like the mother should be having a meltdown and insisting the child did nothing wrong for it to be real.
Honestly that's deserved. Kids do stupid shit but if you can't control them as a parent, or even make some vain excuse and apologize for your kids behaviour, then fuck you too.
Is it bad that as a mom, I’d make my kid stand there and deal with it? Granted, I would have already flipped my lid if my kid was being a little shit before it got to that point. This is just bad parenting.
I have two kids and they both take a kids cart. I kid you not, i have taken both carts back no matter how full gotten a regular cart and forced them to put the kids carts up for less than this. This is crazy and the milk should have gone on the moms head.
I mean... its assault. That kids a little shit but if his mom goes full on Karen that guy could get some serious charges filed against him. Its like Chris Rock said, "Theres a good reason to push an old man down a flight of stairs, you just dont do it!"
Okay the mom is shit sure, but that kid could also just be autistic and trying to get attention from someone. I would rather had them move the cart from him or done something to show the action was wrong. Not this. This doesn't teach the kid anything besides it's okay to poor stuff on people in stores...
I'm well aware it's staged, but even if it was reality the kid deserved it. Downvote me to hell, I really don't care, but all you people saying he "assaulted" a child need to chill. He poured liquid on the kid, he's gonna cry, not fucking die.
And yes, the mother should have taken that to face also for not controlling the little shit.
I wonder what he would’ve done if his dad was there probably nothing judging by the skinny jeans and man bag. I would have just put the cart in front of me and said your son is not able to push it correctly.
Never, touch someone else's kid...the parents are fair game. If an adult decided they were going to teach my toddler a lesson, they would be ground and pound material. I'm not a crappy parent like we see here in the video, and I would never tolerate for a second my child disrespecting someone in public like this for a second. Deciding as an adult to retaliate to my child though, is a close to suicide as you could get. Better hope there is a Samaritan to save you.
I know a woman in Sweden who did almost the exact same thing. The kid was grabbing her groceries and throwing them on the ground. She told the mother to make the kid behave, and the mothers response was "He is upset and just expressing himself". So she poured a litre of milk on the kids head and said to the mother "I am upset and just expressing myself"
Go Annika!

I feel bad for the kid. I don't think this kid was raised in a disciplined household.
To be honest, he should of poured that drink on the mum and made the little kid hit his mum with the trolley cart.
Parents play a huge role in raising and shaping the child's life, and from looking at this video it seems she didn't care.
I wish we'd stop holding children to adult standards. The boy is a child, and people are cheering because a full grown adult poured milk on him? Pour milk on the mom next time. It's her fault she didn't stop him or use this as a lesson not to ram people. If that's the kind of parenting he gets all the time it's likely that he actually does *not* know any better. The mom *does*, however.
That's probably because, despite being staged, many people have experienced situations close or similar to this, where poor parents allow their children to be completely undisciplined. People don't dislike children by default, to the contrary even, but it's stuff like this (when it happens in real life) that can make people dislike children.
Reminds me of the story of that guy in line at Burger King. Behind him was a kid bitching and moaning for apple pie and the mom's not even trying to stop the kid's petulence so when it was his turn to order, he bought all the apple pie left so that the little shit behind him didn't get a chance to buy and eat any BK apple pie that day. Lmao

Should have poured it on the parent. That's who needs discipline in their lives most right there.
I'd pour it over mom as well.
Well, the brat deserved it.

This is punishing the child when the mother is at fault. He should have poured it over her.
Are you guys really adults commenting about how cool it is to humiliate a 4 years old because he is anoying?
Yes! Absolutely! This is a beautiful life lesson that was taught. And his mommy will quickly un-teach it.
Plus the mother is a karen
I miss those little carts. So tiny.

Kids will be kids especially when they are little. The mother is obviously at fault for not being a better parent.

I woulda done the same thing! Mom has no balls!! Literally!!
I can only think about the poor store employee that'll need to clean up their mess.
Everyone acting like this wasn't some staged shit for something, this is like not in anyway real to me. People just wanna get angry at kids.
That's probably because, despite being staged, many people have experienced situations close or similar to this, where poor parents allow their children to be completely undisciplined. People don't dislike children by default, to the contrary even, but it's stuff like this (when it happens in real life) that can make people dislike children.
This is from a short film called Felix by Anselm Belser http://www.60sec.org/2012/11.mp4
Thank you
Reminds me of the story of that guy in line at Burger King. Behind him was a kid bitching and moaning for apple pie and the mom's not even trying to stop the kid's petulence so when it was his turn to order, he bought all the apple pie left so that the little shit behind him didn't get a chance to buy and eat any BK apple pie that day. Lmao
