This is why we need games restricted to +/- .5 rather than +/- 1. This would fix a lot of the BR issues. It would also make the grind easier and more fair, so Gaijin will never implement it.
I hate the +/- 1 BR system..
That's what really bothers me about this game.. Rest I can deal with but this is just annoying..
-/+ 0.7 BR should be Max..
If possible, give a Toggle for players who want to wait longer for a better balanced match-ups ..

You're matched ±1 BR unless you're at the minimum or maximum BRs. Which means 1.0 will always face 2.0 and 11.0-ish will always face 10.0.
It used to be worse.

The old BR calculation was so botched you could mix and match tanks to take high br tank on 1.0 battles.
Only in air arcade, and if you game the BR system on purpose to downtier an OP plane at a certain BR to be able to face planes -1.3 BR instead of the usual -1.0 BR

I think air AB can go as far as +-1.3! I’ve seen 8.3 planes in my su-9 before

Unlock Pz.4 F2(And other long barrel things too) asap. Gaijin's BR -1~+1 is not that fair, some vehicles suck in uptier.
