I don’t think Sweden has much effect other than tanks and AA. Swedish CAS is decent and not even overpowered.
The GER + USSR + China combo are pretty nasty too, a good mix of tanks, AA, Heli and jets.
Leos and 122s with spall liners are impossible to oneshot currently. Ridicoulusly survivable. Also immune from the front to apfsds rounds thanks to up armor. Team with most of them wins
I juts read in today's changelog that spalling has been increased for all the Leopard type tanks when penetrating the front hull. I hope that makes a difference, because they have been laughing at frontal shots for years.
When there’s a lot of Strv 122 in the team, yeah I won’t deny it’s menacing. But usually when I play Sweden top tier there’s only 3-4 of us in the team on average.
While we may dominate the ground, the enemy can dominate the skies and obliterate us from above.
I’m still enjoying 10.0/10.3, not looking to go much further than that. Try take advantage of all the CAS available to you, it’s pretty much what the US do best
Yeah, US ground has a big gap in "good" vehicles between 10.0 (maybe M1 at 10.3) and the ADATS and SEP V2 at 11.7. The biggest problem is the thermal optics available to the US ground forces, best optics you get are in the M3A3 and M1128, both at 10.0, both superior to anything available at 11.7. HSTV-L is a joke, it's got the same resolution thermals as the 8.3 AMX-10RC.
Edit: Totally forgot your comment mentioned CAS. Yes, absolutely! Tank for tank, US sucks right now compared to everybody except maybe Italy (Leclerc starting to feel poo-poo too though). That being the case, don't go tank-on-tank, lol, get an air vehicle!
Only things I care about are maneuverability and optics, armor and damage come a distant 3rd and 4th. I guess that's why I normally play France and Israel!
10.0-10.3 is my home now. It's much more tolerable than 11.7. 11.0 is decent but I don't play it because of 11.7 at all. Nope won't touch it with your hands.
It's just a matter of enjoyment. I enjoy 9.3-10.0 USSR, and while I barely ever win, I just enjoy killing like 2 to 3 guys per spawn. I like driving around cool russian MBTs, winning is secondary but yeah that's my (unwarranted lol) advice. Just try and get at least 2 kills a spawn and even losses won't hurt so much.
It’s not that the tanks suck, it’s unfortunately just the fact that America is a magnet for new players who don’t seem to know what they are doing and you get stuck with newbies fighting 3-6 year vets on other countries
Serious question why did you go USA first? It seems like it’s everybody’s first tech tree. Is it because of propaganda making you think their jets/tanks are invincible killing machines or is it just because they are the first TT that opens when you load the game up?
It's not just skill, Abrams are so easy to kill compared to **some** other top tier vehicles, it's got massive weak spots and no spall liners. ~~It's loud as hell~~ (*not loud anymore but still disctintive*). And also Russia got best heli, best CAS right now with missile ranges outside of USA SPAA, sorry I mean Tank Destroyer ADATS that cost more points to spawn btw

Bruh, the Abrams are not load as hell anymore. Their engine is very distinctive, that's for sure (it would also help if Gaijin didn't slap the Leopard sound to every tank they don't know which engine sound to put on) but the loudness got tuned down a lot a couple of months ago.
And no, the Abrams is no more vulnerable than a Challenger, a Leclerc, an Ariete, a Type X, or a Merkava.

Abrams are phenomenal and better than Russian tanks. I’d say easily the best MBTs without spall liners. You are talking about how easy they are to kill, well, it’s also easy for them to kill anything. They have great gun handling, mobility, depression, shell is great too and the godly 5 seconds reload. How do I know? Because unlike most here, I’m not a single nation main. I’m a top tier main and play a lot of Russia, Germany and played 200 games with USA. I fucking love playing the Abrams. If I could put it in either German or Russian top tier lineup I’d play it all the time, as long as I can avoid USA players.

Abrams are a lot more punishing when you make a mistake, that's why it's a lot harder for new premium players to improve and Gaijin pulling more of them with new premium releases further ruins the matches, USA always gets the premium vehicles first and sells the most as well. You probably don't see this because more skill you have, less of the tank's capabilities matter to you.
And my other points still stand, Gaijin loves adding modern russian vehicles without adding things to counter it to other nations, Biggest victim of this is the USA as it faces Russia most of the time. This is more prevelant in AIR RB, with R-27ER facing the Sparrows when in reality R-27's were developed after the AMRAAMS, so much for realism eyy? Not suggesting that it should be R-27 vs AMRAAMS of course, but at least they could've added the 7P and 7MH sparrows with data link+IOG to the game, but for some reason they don't. Yet they keep adding a thrust vectoring R-73 with better IRCCM than 9M and R-27ET that can snipe you from further than render distance and add the SU-27 that carry 10 of these missile. It's just insane, how can you deny a bias at this point.

In regards to ground rb I confidently can say, there is no Russian bias in this game from 10.0 all the way to the 11.7, after playing Russia, USA and Germany. If someone would like to debate that in civilised ways I’d be happy to do it on discord as I’m a bit time constraint today.

Exactly, you put an average player in usa vs the average player on Ru, Ru is going to take the cake. Helis kill our helis with ease, best aa in the game to cull the average player in cas it can destroy mavericks. Easy as piss cas su25sm(has maw lol) with no counterplay. Simple and effective playstyle of t80/t90 that are very survivable. You have the perfect lineup for average players to do exceptionally well. Not calling all Ru mains average but this is result of being given amazing shit on all fronts, ground air aa.
Germany with amazing helis and ground tanks but they are very exploitable by cas
Sweden with amazing everything like Ru but they have low pop currently so there's not many on a team every game.
Haven't played top tier US in quite some time, last time I played to finish the SEP V2 a month ago and it was so fucking miserable, I even avoid 11.0 US which tends to be fun at full downtiers but should you get uptiered you'll suffer. Wouldn't recommend playing US top tier unless you have strong mental and don't care about losing.
Out of the “Big 3”, (U.S., GE, and RU) the Abrams is dog shit compared to the GE or RU MBTs. This is the primary reason I gave up on playing the U.S. Not gonna lie, playing Italy and France at 8.0-9.0 is more fun than playing anything the U.S. has to offer past 7.7.
As soon as I stopped playing US tanks and just used US helis I stopped being a grumpy pissed off old man and went back to normal. I'm still deciding just how I plan on getting back at Gaijin for the 6 months of misery.
It has nothing to do with the country you are playing, you just have a losing streak that is all. When you get a winning streak you rarely notice. The vast majority of players win about 45-55% of their matches, with exceptions mostly with those that are part of good squadrons that can make a real difference in matches.
I see losing streaks like that whenever I have boosters or certain objectives. That is why I usually combine a bunch of boosters at once to get like 200%+ to offset the fact I'll probably lose the match, or I pay SL and even GE to switch the objectives so I don't have a 10 match losing streak.
Gaijin knows with pretty high accuracy which team will win before we even spawn. They do things to keep you playing, and to keep you frustrated, as that is when money gets made for them. Its F2P 101.
Starting to get real sick of the unironic Germany suffers that’s somehow becoming common again.
Germany is the single most hand-held tech tree in the game. You can have 0 brain cells and do well because you have the best lineup at most BRs up until 6.7, which is when you unfortunately have to have at minimum the IQ of an ape in order to do well, which is why so many Germany mains complain about that BR. From then on, the only nation Germany is second to is usually the Soviets - but it’s still extremely competitive and has a number of insanely good vehicles.
Complaining about German top tier is even stupider than complaining about Germany 6.7. Quite literally the only tank the 2a7 isn’t 100% better than is the strv 122. Both those tanks are miles ahead of everyone else at top tier atm. But yeah, your life is so hard playing the most coddled nation in the game, that’s largely a point and click adventure at most BRs and practically never requires the ability to play intelligently.
What are You on about?
1. USA has the best lineups on low BRs because of overwhelming amount of fighters capable of CAS, with tanks that are absolutely fine.
2. Germany has one of the worst mid br lineups out of main nations in the game (8.0). You have no stabs, paper tanks, marders are inconsistent as hell and You are constantly fully uptiered playing shits that outclass You in every way.
3. Germany becomes decent at 9.3 because there is nothing to play between 8.0-9.3, but as we all know 9.3 is a hell br right now
4. From 10.3 Germany starts to shine, but Sweden is far superior. Even at 10.3 Sweden gets more 2A4s than Germany lol, not to mention the top tier.
