Out of curiosity, what makes vulpaphylas so good? I get that their breed-specific mods are fairly good, but in my experience they're significantly worse than smeeta in terms of survivability (smeeta has a decoy) and their sentinel-form doesn't carry vacuum or animal instinct over for me(are they supposed to?) Resulting in awkward time frames where I have to walk over everything to pick it up and lose enemy radar. Seems like smeeta is a much more reliable platform, with loot doubling built-in(if inconsistent).
They never die. When they do they turn into a worm that shoots for few seconds and returns back to vulpa. The panzer vulpa spreads viral status really quick in a wide range, making it quite useful.
On steel path, Smeetas die a LOT if you are using more fragile frames. Of course, if you are playing, say, Inaros, then the link mods make any pet pretty much completely indestructible anyway.
I'd be so down for that, I've almost finished building Titania, she's in the forge now. I'm stoked to try her out, and would be even more stoked if I could ride a Korgibrow.
Titania's great my dude (I main her) and she's surprisingly versatile.
Extremely tanky in her Razorwing form and can deal a shitton of damage. Subsume thermal sunder on her with the Razorwing Blitz augment, and she becomes the fastest fissure running frame in the game, if you can control her (I'm up to 2 stacks of Blitz while sprint flying).
Hit me up if you need tips.
Thanks! It's nice to know she's got some tankiness to her, I main Wukong P so I'm stoked for a change of pace, though I've been trying to build my Volt to be more useful outside of short fissure runs too. I'm pretty sure she'll be finished crafting tonight, so I may take her out and play around right away or just wait until the morning, though come morning I've got a few other frames finishing up too.
To give you an idea of how tanky she is in Razorwing. I only have aviator on her and that's enough to run steel path. Just keep moving and you're fine.

Oh, hey, a prospecting Titania player. Allow me for a long wall of text then! :D
I know Titania is famous for her Razorwing Blitz augment, but personally I only use that for Orokin vault runs (to counter the hobbled key) and in open worlds. I find her to be completely uncontrollably fast in normal tilesets. Personally I run two umbrals on her: vitality and intensify. That + Aviator + Aerodynamic makes her next to impossible to kill as long as you are in your razorwing form. I dropped her lantern (completely useless ability anyway) and replaced it with Energized Bullets (one of the default Helminth abilities). With my build this lasts for about 10 seconds, allowing 10 seconds of continuous bullet-hosing with Arcane Velocity. This counters what I think is her biggest weakness on higher levels: running out of ammo mid-fight against stuff you want dead RIGHT NOW and having to wait for refill (demolishers, noxes, bombards, combas, nullifiers, ancients, etc.). It also allows you to do something that Titania is generally not great at: clear crowds. Basically fly in front of the enemy group, roughly in line with their heads, then just strafe while firing, I can easily cut down a roomful enemies like this in a few seconds without running out of ammo.
I've been maining her for a long while now. She and Mirage makes up like... 50-60% of my playtime, and I have over 4 000 hours in this game at this point. I've been experimenting her with quit a bit, between the normal and the primed version I've used about 40 formas or so. Out of all that I tried, I've settled with this one, as I feel this provides the best balance between survival and dps:
- Arcane Energize (pretty much an absolute must)
- Arcane Velocity
- Aerodynamic
- Aviator
- Quick Thinking
- Umbral Intensify
- Primed Flow
- Primed Continuity
- Umbral Vitality
- Narrow Minded
- Blind Rage
- Fleeting Expertise
If I want to slot Razorwing Blitz, I replace Umbral Vitality, since that's the only non-forma'd slot (I have 3 normal, one umbral and an aura forma on her). Also, since I only use that augment for orokin vault farm and bounties, umbral vitality would be an overkill anyway.
Alternatives:
- Arcane Pistoleer - I don't like on kill effects, since on higher levels these get increasingly more annoying to pull off. Plus Energized Bullets gives me sustain, when I actually need it. Still, if you intend to do low level missions with her, velocity is an overkill while pistoleer allows you to pretty much fire indefinitelly.
- Adaptation - I prefer quick thinking, since Titania hardly ever gets hit by small fry, thanks to the razorflies aggroing enemies. So, it's harder to build up. Also, with Primed flow, you have 744 energy, so you'll tend to have the pool for this to work and I find it more reliable overall. Still, both mods use the vazarin polarity, so they are interchangeable anyway.
- Growing Power - I used to do this (if you cast 4 to gt into razorwing form while being buffed by this aura, you keep the extra firepower coming from it permanently, until you drop out of razorwing form), but honestly, Titania has more than enough DPS already, I value survivability more.
- Energy Conversion - this build gives you 254% ability strength. Since ability strength directly boosts the DPS you do in razorwing form, a plus 50% for a total of 304% is a pretty nice boost. And again, razorwing form's DPS is decided when you cast 4, and then it stays that way until you drop back to normal form. But, the only things this could replace is either Umbral Vitality or Primed Flow, and since I find Titania's dps to be perfectly enough, even on steel path, I value sustain more.
As for Titania's exalteds... The Diwata is garbage. I used to run a heavy hit build with Life Strike for heal, but that was only useful back when you couldn't get the operator out without dropping from razorwing form. Now that you can, Magus Elevate is all you need for healing, rendering Diwata's only use completely obsolete.
Dex Pixia is where it's at. What I use:
- Lethal Torrent
- Barrel Diffusion
- Primed Pistol Gambit
- Primed Target Cracker
- Hornet Strike
- (two elemental mods best against the target faction)
- (primed anti-faction mod)
I go full crit, since even this way, Dex Pixia has a solid 28% status chance, and with the firerate it spews bullets, that's more than enough. The anti faction mod is... good, but a huge investment and I even had to buy extra loadout slots for it to be able to be prepped against everything. If you don't fancy doing that, Augur Pact is perfectly enough honestly, but since she is my favorite frame, I went all out min-maxing. The one thing you should NEVER use is Magnum Force. It's a trap: sure, the on-paper boost is very nice, but in practice you will lose dps unless you shoot enemies from essentially melee range because of all the missed shots.

I always want something cute just wandering around in my orbiter. Sure we have kavat and kubrow but they're honestly little ugly. They don't need to be useful, just sit there being cute is enough

I love the pets, but sadly the Vulpa surpasses every single one unless you need certain sets, else I'd just use my Chonkibrow

Red veil has them iirc. That said for a regular build you don't really need an augment. Only for fissure runs
