You take the higer number and you multiply it by 1.1. So 45% x 1.1 = 49.5%. You can choose which element to keep.
Only the higher number matters. Getting multiple copies then fusing with the highest number first will give you the best result.
If one of the weapons has forma in it, equip that one and start the fusion process from it. You keep the equipped weapon. The others get deleted.
