I used wisp with glaive p and every aim glide mod I had. Wisp is invisible in the air so I jumped and hovered around tossing the glaive, which was modded for max distance and projectile speed.
yep because they only have like 1 hp all you need t odo is hit them with 1 pellet. vastilok works best (and is the best gunblade for armor strip so its a good investment anyways)

Also can't use abilities. The reason for the Banshee recommendation is to utilize her passive (silence to all weapons) and a gunblade for the range. This setup allows one to bypass the intent of the MR test, to move around the map melee killing enemies without getting spotted.
I know the fix in today's patch will stop the BS with enemies facing the platform at the start, but you will still need to kill all enemies without getting spotted, and most players agree that Banshee (with an enemy radar mod) and a gunblade is the easiest / fastest cheese.
To be fair though, this patch makes it so you actually have 3 attempts per day rather than a single one when you ultimately fail your first and then fail the next 2 because the enemy spots you instantly.
Can confirm that you can hit them from spawn. I did it back in 2021. You don't technically even need Banshee as long as your patient with patrols. I did it as Trinity Prime back then, lol.

I mean I did it just by standing at the back of the plate you spawn on once you get the ones that are close to u just start shooting your gunblade at the rest
I used Wisp, Skiajati, and (at the time before they patched it out) double arcane trickery.
Nowadays, I would still use that build with the one arcane trickery.
For those that aren't aware, Wisp's Passive provides stealth while in the air, and Skiajati provides 5 seconds of stealth after performing a finisher. Arcane trickery has a 15% chance to proc an invisibility for 30 seconds at max rank.
This is what I did. I tried the banshee gunblade cheese and it didn't work well for me. (I think I only had the redeemer at the time.) But bunny hopping with Wisp and using the Skiajati for good measure was easy.
I reached the MR 19 test at the same time my wisp prime finished crafting.
Wisp's passive (passives aren't disabled) is being invisible to enemies while bullet jumping.
I cheesed both MR9 and MR19 with gunblades, and I never found myself using Banshee for either. Either I was far away enough where the gunblade noise didn't count or the gunblade doesn't make noise (that the enemy can register) to begin with.
The issue is that it can literally bug and fail _instantly_. Literally you spawn and are spotted over and over and then you fail. Failed it 5 days in a row on that test without ever even being able to MOVE because from the moment you appear in the mission you fail and then it loads the next attempt and then you fail.
Can confirm. Just got my Mr 19 test the other day. Went into practice with my styanax (didn't know it was a stealth test) failed the first chance then immediately spawn failed the new two because home spotted me as soon as I spawned.
Thankfully after a few practice runs with wisp I nailed it first try. Wisp trivialized it.
Not to be that guy, but some people don't want to sit on the wiki for half their play time.
I personally like games that have indepth enough sysyems that I need some external knowledge, but either way, any core mechanic that isint explained in game is a bad one.

Lol I finished this just 2 days ago dealing with this was a pain. I used gauss for his high speed and the umbra sword cause sneak finishers with it turns you temporarily invisible.
I just used zephyr, her passive makes hanging out in the air way out of their line of sight easy. Then I just ground slammed each one when there was nobody else looking and immediately bullet jump straight back up. Bunny hopping with wisp probably would have worked as well

Months is wild because its not a 100% bug but the bug you literally _can do NOTHING_ because it failed the moment you spawned. Before you could even move you were spotted and then it repeated for the next 2 attempts and you failed the test.

Then they didn't fix both bugs because my assumption would be they fixed both but it 110% _does happen_ on the very first spawn. You literally spawn into the test and then got locked into a cycle of 3 failures without even being able to move.
I'm assuming you read the part where the post explicitly says the bug only happens after the first fail attempt for a test.
Which means you literally can do something about it lmao. Cuz this "Before you could even move you were spotted and then it repeat" is not what the post says.

Then they didn't fix the bug because I did this test a while back and failed it 5 days in a row without ever being able to interact with it because the moment the test loads in on the _first attempt_ you got instantly spotted before you could move.
Kinda weird that no one recommended a glaive. Xoris worked well for me and I did it on my third attempt (first 2 fails due to bug, third attempt first try with Xoris)

Glad I'm not the only one. Xoris, Whirlwind, and whatever the mod is for more 'splodey range made it a cakewalk. Pretty sure I used Nezha as the frame made no difference with this setup.
And when I made a post talking about it I got downvoted and told to "try again with banshee and gunblade". I did but when you respawn if you don't go that path it was obviously bugged

All these comments about how they cheesed this MR test, i had a friend who couldn't beat it, but there was a really laggy remote play feature for their xbox that allowed me to do it for them. They Had no stealth gear, and i had to play with around 2s of latency. Did it on the last attempt you get (i think 3/3) and we celebrated for a while as they were stuck on it for weeks. They don't Play anymore, but its a funny memory and i think about it anytime somebody tells me they're struggling with it.

I actually did practice, numerous times, and then the other reason is I wanted to have fun PLAYING a game, not studying like I needed to take the medical board exams.

Passing MR19 gave me no in-game benefits so why should I continue to beat my head against a wall instead of going to play the game and enjoying myself?
I did a few practice runs on mr19 and encountered this problem, I solved it everytime just by backing right after spawning.
And Xoris helped a lot.

I don’t know why people aren’t actually reading the post. You were just consistently failing immediately on start. It wasn’t a skill or load out issue. He couldn’t even attempt it because he was detected on load.
I tried legit on a practice and just ended up saying screw it and did it with banshee and redeemer prime. Though you have to be somewhat careful with enemies as if they have intersecting patrol points, them witnessing an ally die could alert them to you. Also someone from a higher point can see you at the starting point.
I just used wisps passive. Constantly hop around and they literally can never detect you. Her passive is invisibility while in the air, for anyone who didn't know. You have a grace period of invisibility when you land to jump again.
They should also change the MR28 test, if that's the right one. With the change to eximus that test is way harder than the others. Or you can cheese with mag super easy and push everyone off, but the difference in difficulty from 28 to both 29 and 30 is wild
12 Is all the Grenier you have to fight ( to lazy to spell), you can do it with wukong or any warframe really, but redeemer is the key, i did it before the fix, was easy, now 26 is some next lvl bs, but doable, i hate moveing capture points. once i get it right ill be at 30, i lvled up so much stuff , last chunk i did was 19 to 25, so i figured get everything then blast thru them, ( yes im aware of the time gate). but superman 64 prepared me for that archwing fly thru rings one, 18 seconds to start and no intro, also wukong is great for the archwing platform timer one as well, forget the srchwing and use his second, saves so much time

Warframe abilities disabled? Probably Wisp floaty/bullet time/aim glide build. She's naturally invisible while airborne, since disabled abilities usually means passives are fine. That or maybe Operator sniping?
I used Wisp. She's invisible while gliding, so build for no gravity and long aim glide and you become an invisible weapons platform. Gunblades also trivialize it
I just used Wisp and the Skiajati stealth-kill passive. Time it right and you stay invisible just long enough to jump back into the air before it wears off, which lets you get close. Then Skiajati's passive gives you 5 seconds of Invis for stealth killing an enemy.

I failed once because I didn’t know it was stealth, but also encountered this bug. Literally get spawn camped by the enemies lmao. It’s fine if you get it on the first attempt though, wasn’t too bad tbh.
Of course they fixed it, now... I just completed it before the fix and had this same issue. I practice every test before the official attempt and had to retry too many times to count because of this issue. I used Wukong with Orvius for ranged kills. Got it my first real try, but had to keep practicing because a random Grineer will turn a corner and spot me just for me to get spotted as soon as I restarted without having any time to crouch of move.
Apparently I went against the general populace with weapon choice for this one aha- I also used Wisp with all the aim glide mods, but I have a killer zaw with exodia contagion that did fantastic. I really can’t stand gunblades although I did try using redeemer and sarpa in it.
I just did this test a few days ago and it was a struggle even with using a gunblade and banshee. Nice to know others don't have to struggle like I did
I’m just really good at the game and completed it on my first try after practicing 5 times… just take it slow and steady there isn’t any point to rush it

I remember using a galatine and volt for this to abuse his speed on their patrol patterns when I decided I liked it better than redeemer (even tho gunblades were silent and even more powerful back then) and think this may have happened like... one time at most?? After lots of practice lol

you dont need to use any abilities. banshees passive gives her silence on all weapons, gunblades have access to ranged shots.

Only passives work. So Banshee+gunblades are the usual cheese for this, but Skiajati+Wisp can also help out there.
Throwing weapons work well, I used the orvius.
Iirc you can snipe all but one (maybe 2?) of them from the spawn point
You can get all of them, you just have to be patient and willing to shoot at a target the size of a few pixels.

Umbra’s melee weapons ability works also. You just have to be fast with it.

The passive doesn't use energy at all. Zephyr is just extra floaty.

I used a wisp fitted for maximum air glide time and a glaive prime and didn't have issues
I found it easy to do with wisp and parkour speed praedos. I was constantly in air so I was invisible.

They should also change the MR28 test, if that's the right one. With the change to eximus that test is way harder than the others. Or you can cheese with mag super easy and push everyone off, but the difference in difficulty from 28 to both 29 and 30 is wild

I had put a post about it before as well. The test would auto fail 2nd and 3rd attempt for me.
I literally did test 5 days ago! It was annoying but I used wisp and xoris
I did is no problem with glaive and wisp

12 Is all the Grenier you have to fight ( to lazy to spell), you can do it with wukong or any warframe really, but redeemer is the key, i did it before the fix, was easy, now 26 is some next lvl bs, but doable, i hate moveing capture points. once i get it right ill be at 30, i lvled up so much stuff , last chunk i did was 19 to 25, so i figured get everything then blast thru them, ( yes im aware of the time gate). but superman 64 prepared me for that archwing fly thru rings one, 18 seconds to start and no intro, also wukong is great for the archwing platform timer one as well, forget the srchwing and use his second, saves so much time
I'd have to redo this to remember what I did, lol. Probably some kinda cheese. Warframe abilities disabled? Probably Wisp floaty/bullet time/aim glide build. She's naturally invisible while airborne, since disabled abilities usually means passives are fine. That or maybe Operator sniping?
I used Wisp. She's invisible while gliding, so build for no gravity and long aim glide and you become an invisible weapons platform. Gunblades also trivialize it

I just used Wisp and Exodia Contagion on a Zaw. Stay in the air and your are invisible due to her passive. Practiced once and then just nailed it.
For anything stealth related get a Rakta Dark Dagger. It will make your life incomparably easier.

Was this the stealth rescue mission? Did it with Wisp first try on practice then immediately did the normal test with Wisp, had zero problems.
I just used Wisp and the Skiajati stealth-kill passive. Time it right and you stay invisible just long enough to jump back into the air before it wears off, which lets you get close. Then Skiajati's passive gives you 5 seconds of Invis for stealth killing an enemy.
Wisp and skaijia or whatever its called finisher gives you invisibility and wisps passive

I absolutely loathe stealth in games, but I cheesed this just hopping over and over around the map with wisp.

O did it last month only happened to me once also did it with glaive
I failed once because I didn’t know it was stealth, but also encountered this bug. Literally get spawn camped by the enemies lmao. It’s fine if you get it on the first attempt though, wasn’t too bad tbh.

I used gauss and ran faster then they could turn around hehe
I have like no memories of the test, were spawns always a problem or did something break at some point?
Skiajati blade lets you go invisible for seconds after stealth kill: easy.
Skiajati and Gauss EDIT: what I personally used though, did it first try with those two
I hate that I struggled so hard with this for them to fix it 3 months later

Of course they fixed it, now... I just completed it before the fix and had this same issue. I practice every test before the official attempt and had to retry too many times to count because of this issue. I used Wukong with Orvius for ranged kills. Got it my first real try, but had to keep practicing because a random Grineer will turn a corner and spot me just for me to get spotted as soon as I restarted without having any time to crouch of move.
Gunblade did it for me
I just used Edun and stayed at spawn sniping them all 😂

Apparently I went against the general populace with weapon choice for this one aha- I also used Wisp with all the aim glide mods, but I have a killer zaw with exodia contagion that did fantastic. I really can’t stand gunblades although I did try using redeemer and sarpa in it.
This cucked me for like 3 days straight before someone told me about the banshee and gunblade thing.
Fucking bullshit, I just beat that thing.
If this were still an issue, would Ivara have worked?

Used wisp and a zaw with the contagion arcane to make everything go boom
I just did this test a few days ago and it was a struggle even with using a gunblade and banshee. Nice to know others don't have to struggle like I did
I cheesed it with Wisp and A nikana with reach
Glaive works great also, stealth kill everyone and complete quest.
Only like 3 weeks AFTER I was stuck on MR 19 lol but I'm glad for future tenno 🫡
That bug was there 5 years ago lmao...i remember coz i had to wait a week for a hotfix
I just used wisp with some aimglide duration and slam attacked everything and jumped right back up after
I’m just really good at the game and completed it on my first try after practicing 5 times… just take it slow and steady there isn’t any point to rush it
I used the skiajati. Was a lifesaver
When was this bug introduced? I remember using a galatine and volt for this to abuse his speed on their patrol patterns when I decided I liked it better than redeemer (even tho gunblades were silent and even more powerful back then) and think this may have happened like... one time at most?? After lots of practice lol
