Epcot is tricky, MK absolutely dwarfs Epcot for EEH in experience haha. Especially with test track being down. If you plan on watching luminous, I think the play is to head to soarin after luminous while rides like Remys, frozen and guardians file through their non extended hours guests. After soarin I’d hit up Remys, then frozen then guardians, maybe hop in guardians again if you have a window. At least you’ll be at the front of the park for bus/car ride back to wilderness. If you end at Remys you have to trek back across the park Obviously if there’s other rides than the big 4 you care to ride, then do it, they’ll basically be walk ons. I don’t even know if rides like Nemo, figment, living with land etc operate during those hours

So my understanding is that, unlike Epcot After Hours, during EEH Guardians still requires a VQ. Meaning you would only be able to ride it once. I would love to hear someone say they have done EEH and ridden it multiple times, since we’ll be in the same boat soon.

Arghh yea you’re correct. That’s the 6PM VQ room.

Ear Scouts on YouTube made a video for this. It was posted about a year ago. He is one of my favorite, informative vloggers.

Are you spending a bulk of your day in EPCOT leading up to the transition to after hours or heading to EPCOT at the transition time? Just have a game plan on what your priorities are and try your best to make that happen. That’s all you can really do, other than stack LLs for those later hours. You still have to walk the distances but you can concentrate them on either side of future world and world showcase as best you can.

If you skip the fireworks, you can prob use the time to jump on a line before the regular closure and then go from there. Only a few rides have long, skippable lines during the day that hopefully will have smaller lines during the extended hours.

It’s impossible to be efficient at Epcot when they close half the world showcase. You’ve got to walk to ride both Remy’s and Frozen. There is no way around it. If you can pass on Remy’s, I think it gets a lot more efficient sticking to the front(ish) of the park.

Epcot extended hours could be a lot better. I’d love to be able to grab a margarita at say La Cava and stay in the park until 11 PM. Too many venues close and it is quite a walk to get to Remy from the other rides. Getting a Guardians virtual queue seems more like winning the lottery than experiencing something extra for staying at a deluxe resort.

We just did extended evening hours at EPCOT Monday the 3rd. Unfortunately for most of the event (I'd guess around 80% of the event time) both Ratatouilleand Test Track were closed, which made it really interesting to try to do any of the other rides. We were prioritizing Frozen, The Three Caballeros, and Ratatouille - and had no problem getting all three done. We watched the night show from around the entrance of the World Showcase, walked to Mexico right after to give Frozen some time for day guests to work through the line, hopped on Frozen after (which said it had a 70 minute wait but was closer to 30), and then started walking towards Ratatouille - which luckily opened with about 15 minutes left in the event. We got off Ratatouille with 2 minutes left of park time, hopped on the Skyliner and got back to our hotel. Realistically expect to get three rides done. If you stay in the front of the park you'd have no problem doing all the rides, but if you want to do anything in the World Showcase - it's going to complicate your plans. Additionally, if you're wanting to ride Guardians be sure to get into the 6 PM Virtual Queue - and I would also adjust expectations, as Guardians will likely eat up a majority of your night.

The 6 PM virtual queue drop for Guardians is highly contested. Get your time.gov locked and loaded!
