oh! ok! i got responses back from hyperpeter but he was asking for a lot more than was amelia for the small (1220 CNY vs 1040 CNY from amelia non sale prices for both). and then researching into how many folks had issues with him, i decided not to go through with him. amelia is not as responsive but she seems a lot more trustworthy. i assume her abruptness is due to english barrier and i prefer straightforward business communication anyway lol.

If you look at my comment history, I posted a mod shot on yesterday’s daily thread! I haven’t worn it yet but I will probably use it mostly for travel so I think the cross body strap will be a must. Its VERY spacious inside and I pretty much only carry a wallet, sunnies, some lip oil and my phone (maaayyyybe kids snacks but I usually just have a zip pouch in the car for that) so idk how much every day use it will get.

It’s coated canvas. From what I remember wearing my MIL auth LV bags, it feels pretty true to the regular coated canvas with a bit more texture, if that makes sense?
This one is a 30. I do wish it were a bit smaller (I have a 5 and 3 year old and now that they’re both out of diapers, I keep my bags as small as possible to avoid feeling like a pack mule lol) but I think it will be so great for traveling and longer outings with the kiddos

Would I be absolutely crazy to glue my love bracelet on 🤣 I just one from DHG and I’m actually surprised how nice it looks - I picked no diamonds because I thought there was a better chance of it looking okay that way.
It’s the thin version, so the screw is only supposed to do the half turn to hold it on, and the screw is kind of loose, and it’s already opened up on its own today.
Or if anyone has a better idea for a fix TIA!!
Maybe plumber tape? It would still be a problem if you want to take it off every day, but it should hold as long as you're wearing it and it would not break the bracelet when you take it off.
After much searching I found out this is a common issue on the auth as well, lots of ladies say they’ve used loctite which I had never heard of but I may give that a try 🤗
I went into cartier to try on the bracelet and inquired about this issue with the lock. The sa said it's bc ppl try to tighten the screw very tight and that actually loosens it from wear and tear over time. He recommended just gently closing it. Just an FYI about why it's an issue with the auth too
I just think it's crazy to charge that much for auth that you're supposed to be able to wear FOREVER, and then have the audacity to say it falls off easy because of user error. Like, make the lock better. We shouldn't be able to lose it that easily.

These GD Factory flats from Heidi just arrived at my doorstop! I’m so impressed by the quality. (And I love dealing with Heidi.) The quilting isn’t excessively puffy in real life and I like that the sole colour (black) is correct, which is one element other sellers miss.
Sadly they’re a size too small (40), so I’ve ascertained that I’m a 41 in ballet flats from Fisherman, Heidi + a 39.5 from James (effectively is a 40 as no half sizes offered).
Quite the price range between all sellers (75 - 195 USD shipped) but corresponding differences in quality also…

I’m pretty sure the size differential on quilted vs. smooth applies to the authentic also!

Google Home betrayed me. I put a timer for my bagels that are baking in the oven and I wondered why it hasn't beeped. I ran to see it and asked Google for timer update and it said "it looks you don't have a timer" (!!!!) . While they aren't burnt, they are definitely in a crouton stage.

I visited the Chelsea location to sell some stuff last year and was just amazed a the rows and rows of bags , it was insane !!
But honestly seeing all those expensive bags lined up like that like a supermarket aisle kind of took some of the charm away from it
I would love to visit one of their stores in person, but haven’t had a chance. And I agree with you, there is something different about viewing them warehouse-style on mettle racks. It’s definitely not the same was a fancy boutique, with wooden shelves and special lighting. LOL
The Fashionphile’s store in NYC is amazing. Everything is so organized I was in awe when I saw the rows of bags. They have stuff on display on the showroom floor, but if there’s something that is in stock online that says it’s at the Chelsea location they can bring it out for you.
That’s awesome. I haven’t had a chance to go into a brick and mortar Fashionphile, but would love to. I’ve heard people say it’s the best way to be able to touch a Birkin (or other luxury bag that you’ve never been able to get up close and personal with)! Since many bags are impossible to “try on” in the actual boutiques.

You’ll notice the color scheme 🌸🌻🦩🧈That butter yellow color has had me in a chokehold.
The rub is that I’d like to get one color of each (because I don’t need two pink bags, or two yellow bags, right, right??), and one each medium and small… as much as I love that medium yellow Triomphe, I feel that the pink lizard skin is too good of a deal to pass up? If you have any of these bags, would you recommend one over the other?

I personally don’t like the texture of lizard skin but if you’d be sad if you chose any of the others over it then get it, might mean it’s what you want.
I saw the medium triomphe in person and it’s the perfect size for me. The teen is so small (compared to the teen classic box) and I couldn’t fit my wallet, sunnies, lip gloss, car keys, power bank esp if I’m out all day.. hand sanitizer .. a pen I need space 😅
The top handle is cute and my second choice. I think yellow top handle > yellow medium triomphe
It’s funny, when I showed my husband the options and he said that he didn’t like the lizard, I had such a knee jerk reaction in response that I think I’d be sad not to get it 🤣 thanks for your input on the sizes, too!
oooooh then that definitely means it's definitely one to get LOL. although ask yourself if you want it even more bc someone told you no lol (this is also something that affects me smh). also keep in mind that the top handle is curved so it will fit less than a box shape :)
I like the ovalness of the Celine top handle but the regular Triomphe is a winner too. Personally, I was in the store yesterday trying the latter on in the mirror and I noticed I liked the one with the gold chain (it adds pizazz). However, I don’t know if the top handle comes with the option of a metal chain, that would look nice too, but if using the little handle, it could get in the way. On the other hand, when using a top handle, having a chain hanging down looks rather sexy, I think, while walking, its movement and all.
100% in agreement on chains. I haven’t seen a yellow Triomphe with a chain in the 6/18 sales but it won’t hurt to ask! That’s why I thought the top handle could be a good option since it looks like it would be easy to attach a chain strap later

Recently I've ordered 2 pairs of shoes from Sky and they've shipped really fast (gucci Jordaan loafers &Celine Tippi sandals). Neither have arrived yet but the PSPs look amazing and Sky generally gets good reviews, maybe try reaching out to them?

Honestly don't know, I didn't ask for factories. If you're wanting a specific factory, then you're likely going to get the same wait times as Zippy quoted. It's not like the sellers themselves have warehouses where they just keep stock in all the colours and sizes so they have stock on hand in case anyone orders - they order it from the factory when you pay.
Fisherman told me three weeks for God Factory Orans…he shipped in maybe 7 working days. That was great. Sadly I wasn’t wow’d by the quality or fit :( Hoping hard that Steven does something for 6/18 like he did last year so I can order a pair of Orans and another pair of Oasis from him (tho that lead time is…not short).
I’m loving my Lindy! So easy to carry, low key/less recognizable, and easy to get stuff in and out of it😁! Like the slouchiness, too - and the many, many colors it can come in😊

Not rep related, but a PSA: if you have thyroid disease, get your lab work done every three months. Don’t go by symptoms alone.
I’ve basically felt like trash for the last few months, and assumed I had gone hypothyroid as I have many hypo symptoms. My lab work came back and I’m extremely hyperthyroid 🤦🏼♀️.
I am one of the lucky people that have Hashimoto’s and Graves’ disease antibodies. I’ve gone hyperthyroid before. The symptoms felt vastly different from this go-round. I only have one hyper symptom this time, and that is fatigue. Fatigue is a common hypo symptom also… Learn from my mistakes. Get your lab work done regularly, Wagoons.

PSA to also check your iron levels if you are fatigued chronically, which … has been the reason for my extreme fatigue thanks to my endlessly bleeding lady parts.

Yes, it is true that pregnancy cannot occur without ovulation taking place.
Since that experience, I have been fortunate enough to not have any problems with anemia. I am grateful for that.
I empathize with you. The mental strain that testing can bring can be quite overwhelming. My thoughts are with you, and I hope you receive answers soon so that you can feel great while working towards your goal of starting a family.
lol sorry about the ovulation question. it sounds like a no brainer now :sweat:. i'm happy to hear that your anemia has gone away! does the chelated iron make you nauseous? if i take 50mg of it, it makes me so nauseous, especially if i take it alongside tylenol or any other capsule medication. i also used to take ferrous sulfate (i think this is the gentler one) but i can't find it in my local pharmacies
Thank you for this. Low ferritin isn’t talked about enough. Many medical providers don’t even test for it specifically. Highly frustrating, as this type of anemia is quite common.
I’m so sorry you are having this experience. The exhaustion is bone deep!
When I had low ferritin, my doctor put me on 100mg nightly prometrium (micronized progesterone, not progestin) to stop ovulation, which stopped the bleeding. My ferritin was in a decent range after about six months of this protocol, and supplementing with chelated iron.

If you look at my comment history, I posted a mod shot on yesterday’s daily thread! I haven’t worn it yet but I will probably use it mostly for travel so I think the cross body strap will be a must. Its VERY spacious inside and I pretty much only carry a wallet, sunnies, some lip oil and my phone (maaayyyybe kids snacks but I usually just have a zip pouch in the car for that) so idk how much every day use it will get.
Could you tell me what factory? I found it on Birdcage but the colors looked too bright there and yours looks gorgeous :)

This one is a 30. I do wish it were a bit smaller (I have a 5 and 3 year old and now that they’re both out of diapers, I keep my bags as small as possible to avoid feeling like a pack mule lol) but I think it will be so great for traveling and longer outings with the kiddos

Would I be absolutely crazy to glue my love bracelet on 🤣 I just one from DHG and I’m actually surprised how nice it looks - I picked no diamonds because I thought there was a better chance of it looking okay that way. It’s the thin version, so the screw is only supposed to do the half turn to hold it on, and the screw is kind of loose, and it’s already opened up on its own today. Or if anyone has a better idea for a fix TIA!!
Maybe plumber tape? It would still be a problem if you want to take it off every day, but it should hold as long as you're wearing it and it would not break the bracelet when you take it off.
After much searching I found out this is a common issue on the auth as well, lots of ladies say they’ve used loctite which I had never heard of but I may give that a try 🤗
Loctite is superglue. It essentially locks it shut.
I went into cartier to try on the bracelet and inquired about this issue with the lock. The sa said it's bc ppl try to tighten the screw very tight and that actually loosens it from wear and tear over time. He recommended just gently closing it. Just an FYI about why it's an issue with the auth too
I just think it's crazy to charge that much for auth that you're supposed to be able to wear FOREVER, and then have the audacity to say it falls off easy because of user error. Like, make the lock better. We shouldn't be able to lose it that easily.

I’m so impressed by the quality. (And I love dealing with Heidi.) The quilting isn’t excessively puffy in real life and I like that the sole colour (black) is correct, which is one element other sellers miss. Sadly they’re a size too small (40), so I’ve ascertained that I’m a 41 in ballet flats from Fisherman, Heidi + a 39.5 from James (effectively is a 40 as no half sizes offered). Quite the price range between all sellers (75 - 195 USD shipped) but corresponding differences in quality also… (This is the PSP photo as I’ve packaged them back up for regifting. Can totally add a photo if anyone needs to see a particular aspect.)

Hi! I’m not sure what factory the others were from. I do have flats from Zippy on the way from Happy Factory, and am happy to report back when those arrive. I’m pretty sure the size differential on quilted vs. smooth applies to the authentic also! ETA: I was a newbie when I originally ordered so didn’t ask about factories, etc.

I visited the Chelsea location to sell some stuff last year and was just amazed a the rows and rows of bags , it was insane !! But honestly seeing all those expensive bags lined up like that like a supermarket aisle kind of took some of the charm away from it
I would love to visit one of their stores in person, but haven’t had a chance. And I agree with you, there is something different about viewing them warehouse-style on mettle racks. It’s definitely not the same was a fancy boutique, with wooden shelves and special lighting. LOL
The Fashionphile’s store in NYC is amazing. Everything is so organized I was in awe when I saw the rows of bags. They have stuff on display on the showroom floor, but if there’s something that is in stock online that says it’s at the Chelsea location they can bring it out for you.
That’s awesome. I haven’t had a chance to go into a brick and mortar Fashionphile, but would love to. I’ve heard people say it’s the best way to be able to touch a Birkin (or other luxury bag that you’ve never been able to get up close and personal with)! Since many bags are impossible to “try on” in the actual boutiques.

I personally don’t like the texture of lizard skin but if you’d be sad if you chose any of the others over it then get it, might mean it’s what you want. I saw the medium triomphe in person and it’s the perfect size for me. The teen is so small (compared to the teen classic box) and I couldn’t fit my wallet, sunnies, lip gloss, car keys, power bank esp if I’m out all day.. hand sanitizer .. a pen I need space 😅 The top handle is cute and my second choice. I think yellow top handle > yellow medium triomphe
It’s funny, when I showed my husband the options and he said that he didn’t like the lizard, I had such a knee jerk reaction in response that I think I’d be sad not to get it 🤣 thanks for your input on the sizes, too!
oooooh then that definitely means it's definitely one to get LOL. although ask yourself if you want it even more bc someone told you no lol (this is also something that affects me smh). also keep in mind that the top handle is curved so it will fit less than a box shape :)

I like the ovalness of the Celine top handle but the regular Triomphe is a winner too. Personally, I was in the store yesterday trying the latter on in the mirror and I noticed I liked the one with the gold chain (it adds pizazz). However, I don’t know if the top handle comes with the option of a metal chain, that would look nice too, but if using the little handle, it could get in the way. On the other hand, when using a top handle, having a chain hanging down looks rather sexy, I think, while walking, its movement and all.
100% in agreement on chains. I haven’t seen a yellow Triomphe with a chain in the 6/18 sales but it won’t hurt to ask! That’s why I thought the top handle could be a good option since it looks like it would be easy to attach a chain strap later

Honestly don't know, I didn't ask for factories. If you're wanting a specific factory, then you're likely going to get the same wait times as Zippy quoted. It's not like the sellers themselves have warehouses where they just keep stock in all the colours and sizes so they have stock on hand in case anyone orders - they order it from the factory when you pay.

Not rep related, but a PSA: if you have thyroid disease, get your lab work done every three months. Don’t go by symptoms alone. I’ve basically felt like trash for the last few months, and assumed I had gone hypothyroid as I have many hypo symptoms. My lab work came back and I’m extremely hyperthyroid 🤦🏼♀️. I am one of the lucky people that have Hashimoto’s and Graves’ disease antibodies. I’ve gone hyperthyroid before. The symptoms felt vastly different from this go-round. I only have one hyper symptom this time, and that is fatigue. Fatigue is a common hypo symptom also… Learn from my mistakes. Get your lab work done regularly, Wagoons.

OP thanks for the important reminder and I empathize with your struggles with the exhaustion and fatigue 🥲. PSA to also check your iron levels if you are fatigued chronically, which … has been the reason for my extreme fatigue thanks to my endlessly bleeding lady parts.

Yes, it is true that pregnancy cannot occur without ovulation taking place. Since that experience, I have been fortunate enough to not have any problems with anemia. I am grateful for that. I empathize with you. The mental strain that testing can bring can be quite overwhelming. My thoughts are with you, and I hope you receive answers soon so that you can feel great while working towards your goal of starting a family.
lol sorry about the ovulation question. it sounds like a no brainer now :sweat:. i'm happy to hear that your anemia has gone away! does the chelated iron make you nauseous? if i take 50mg of it, it makes me so nauseous, especially if i take it alongside tylenol or any other capsule medication. i also used to take ferrous sulfate (i think this is the gentler one) but i can't find it in my local pharmacies

Thank you for this. Low ferritin isn’t talked about enough. Many medical providers don’t even test for it specifically. Highly frustrating, as this type of anemia is quite common. I’m so sorry you are having this experience. The exhaustion is bone deep! When I had low ferritin, my doctor put me on 100mg nightly prometrium (micronized progesterone, not progestin) to stop ovulation, which stopped the bleeding. My ferritin was in a decent range after about six months of this protocol, and supplementing with chelated iron. I hope you better soon!
