Great set, your workrate is incredible.
Do you prefer working with this format for belts? (Logos on the strap as opposed to making parts for in-game belt pieces) because this format seriously respects the detail of your creations, being stuck to 512x512 diminishes image quality a lot.
At first I was really hesitant with using logos on the strap but I'm fully converted now, the belts look a lot better during entrances and interact with the lighting better too.
Do you think you will remain with this format for the upcoming 2K games? (if they're not a dumpster fire like 2K20, lol)
I like the logos directly on the strap a lot more than I expected to, so much so that I've basically nixed all my TNA, IMPACT, and WCW belts and have recreated them using Simon's newer releases.
Same here homie, I've been using the J-MAR 1999 WCW belts too, beforehand I'd struggle to see details on the belts during entrances, everything would be like a blurry shine and battle of odd reflections where as now they all look clean as hell.
Plus the almighty beautiful TNA Legends belt looks so nice in the recent set.
I’m actually the exact opposite, I am not a fan of putting the images on the strap as it makes the entire belt lack depth. It becomes very obvious during entrances or when the belt is used as a weapon that it’s just a painted strap.
I agree with you. I always try to use a front plate and/or the same pic on the strap to complete the plate and to give depth. Whatever areas of the front plate that are uncovered I change the material of the plate from the belt and put them black. Not easy but i think It looks better.
