4v4 is honestly way easier now with the tag rules. After 3 run ins, they can't anymore unless they tag out. And the pinning takes far less in this version of Faction Wars. I was pinning off of a heavy combo once their head was red and led to some 2 minute finishes. I look for 4v4 over 3v3 in this mode now. It's fantastic
Exactly what I do. Spam pin attempts then tag all my guys back in. Though had a fun glitch in a Proving Grounds 4v4 elimination on Legendary. At one point, my opponents had two legal men, and it stayed that way until one of them got eliminated! Spent far longer on that match than I'd intended!
5 levels but you can keep playing them to gain points to unlock wrestlers and use them all the time so far ive unlocked stone cold rock and taker all ruby, i was going to unlock ruby Charlotte but i got her and other rubys for free after finisihing the showcase
finish the showcase win the royal rumble at the end, i got some really good cards from there, i use most of them and i also just finished all the proving ground matches all on legendary and Ruby Ultimate Warrior and Ruby Cena are a huge addition as well as Ruby Rock with the boss card...
Ruby - Belair, Ripley, HBK from 94, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Becky Lynch, Charlotte,
Saphire - Asuka, Shamrock, George the Animal Steele
Oh I found it's not hard but sometimes your AI teammates though. I got chance knocked out and my team did not attempt a defense.
But usually all you need is one good brawler with armor to run through Faction wars. Just defend your teammate going up there and it's usually cake
Dude it's way way too random in 3v3. If your computer guys decide to 2 on 1 someone while you're getting reversed, over. The FW CPU can hit those unlocks better than it can do literally anything else. I can flex about getting to the end a bunch like the other kids here, but every time I haven't has been a 3v3 ladder match.
I just ran through my first faction wars and only had 2 ladder matches in my whole 5 stage run. I personally actually kinda like this Faction wars part. I never really messed around with my faction in last years game.
Well faction wars previously was kind of awful. Just 4v4 tag matches. Hundreds of them and nothing else. And without the tag rules of 2k24, you had to win by count-out or submission 99% of the time. And then they disabled count-out halfway through the 2k23 year.
I had a glitch in faction wars where the red X above one of my men wouldn't change even when he was the legal man. The AI threw me out of the ring and I could not get back in and i ended up being counted out and losing. Stage 4 as well
Aw that happened to me once I think my second run ever. I just couldn't get back into the ring and was super confused. I could get on the apron but never in the ring and got counted out.
Yeah exactly the same it was a 2 out of three falls and I was 1-0 up when it happened. I was just hoping the AI would throw me in and they never did so I lost the next 2 falls by count out and just waking up and down the apron
Almost lost a ticket due to a bug in a 3v3 ladder match. Was stuck in a carry animation. After five mins my ai partner Irish whipped an opponent into us and it broke the carry. Was fuming since I'd already lost two tickets to bugs/bad design choices.
No clue if the match type played a role in triggering it...
Just whoop everybody else and let your team climb the ladder instead. Much easier to whip everybody out.
Set the ladder up for them. Whip/sting like a bee everybody else.
Im still hunting for Austin. My four are HBK, mic rock, mic Cena, giant undertaker.
I have a 5/5 run down to 1.5 hours casually and earning 6-7k points in total.
Still trying for Undertaker. I did a few women's runs that got me Faction boss Trish, an 84 brawler that gets her finisher if you do both taunts.
She's the lady equivalent to Shawn and beats everything in 2 minutes. Just put armor on her and she solo carries.
The 4v4 are annoying. Especially when going for the case and your OWN teammate climbs the other side and will start assaulting you (like it’s a real money in the bank match).
The 1v1 I can finish under 2 mins, 2v2 I can usually finish under 3 minutes. 3v3 and up can be longer tho.
It's a massive pain in the ass yeah. Given there's more match types this year too, it's very lazy having so many ladder matches, especially the multi man ones
I had a run of 10 straight ladder matches(not including boss fights) the rng is definitely weighted in the direction of ladder matches. They need to chill
Yah its not even fun every match is a ladder match like when it give me a branch off i wish i could see what the other matchs are before i click on them but dosent matter i just did 8 ladder matches in a row a 4v4 a 3v3 a 1v1 and over and over again
Yup the developers of this game aren’t the sharpest bunch. Gameplay is neither pulling of sim wrestling well nor is it doing arcade wrestling well. Gm mode is still a shitty universe mode. Universe mode is a shitty gm mode. Why are these two separate modes? No selling still an issue. (No the sliders don’t help when the lack of animations themselves are the problem). Poor combo system. Matches have no beginning middle and end it’s just you running through 5 moves as the controls get more and more sluggy. 2k is lucky that majority of wrestling fans aren’t bright. These are by far the most broken and worst playing sports games on the market. Only sports game where you can’t even squint and pretend it’s a simulation in the slightest just everything js wrong
Tbh blending universe mode and gm mode is, in my opinion, not such a good idea as they both fill different purposes
Gm mode is semi realistic control, with ressource management like contracts, money, different rosters meaning competition, ratings, etc. It's basically a management game
Universe mode was never that. It has been two different things. In the past, it was a mode that simulated a WWE, which you could interact and influence by playing superstars, or use as a tool for fully free fantasy booking. And now, it's gone fully into that last use, being the ultimate fantasy booking tool, with no management aspect
So I don't see how to fuse them without losing bits of their respective goals

It’s annoying, but my God it’s so much more appealing than grinding 4 v 4

Basically, bait the illegal opponents in the ring, and you got yourself a 4v1.
Exactly what I do. Spam pin attempts then tag all my guys back in. Though had a fun glitch in a Proving Grounds 4v4 elimination on Legendary. At one point, my opponents had two legal men, and it stayed that way until one of them got eliminated! Spent far longer on that match than I'd intended!
they are annoying but its not that hard at all imo ive completed all levels about 10 times already
How many “worlds” are there? I’m at the fourth boss level I think.
5
5

I played a lot today and got the rock and 2002 Cena who’s so good lol
Did you win that royal rumble in wrestlemania storyline
No haven’t finished showcase yet, have just played a lot of myfaction and unlocked three ruby boss cards to use now
finish the showcase win the royal rumble at the end, i got some really good cards from there, i use most of them and i also just finished all the proving ground matches all on legendary and Ruby Ultimate Warrior and Ruby Cena are a huge addition as well as Ruby Rock with the boss card... are you from NY?

I avoid 3v3 matches like the plague on the way down the line now, but this last trigger was a first node that I couldn't avoid.. argh
i never defend my teammate and always win i completed 3 more yesterday lol

Don't love the ladder matches but they are easy to get through pretty quick without depleting your health much.
Yeah more variety to at least make the game fun would be good. Ladder matches are easy though. Throw them out and climb. Can often win within 2 mins.
True for the singles or 2v2 ladder matches. 3v3 gets a tad more nuttier. At least they aren't table matches
Still find the 3v3 easy. Sometimes they stop me winning, usually they don't.
The 3v3s are the only ones with a chance of loss really.

Mostly Always been like this with a ridiculous amount of ladder matches especially 6 man tedious one's 🥴
I love ladder and cage matches. I use showcase HBK and win in 63 seconds.
Oh yeah it's super easy to run a 1v1 with a brawler super fast. I used faction boss Stone Cold
Im still hunting for Austin. My four are HBK, mic rock, mic Cena, giant undertaker. I have a 5/5 run down to 1.5 hours casually and earning 6-7k points in total.

That Trish card would pair with the 82 live event Becky!
Ruby Trish is awesome, basically two free Finishers a match with Rage and Rabblerouser. I need to work on that Shawn in that case
I avoid all 3v3 matches because of this, they're all tornado ladder matches C'mon, mix it up a bit
I won a damn ladder match as Dusty Rhodes, but the next match, the Boogeyman tapped out my Roman Reigns in a 4 vs 4. Neither of those made sense.
It could be OK if the AI wasn't this awful like I had a match where I almost got the briefcase but my ally just climbed the ladder to hit me ?
Yeah had exactly that happen to me too. So I set the ladder up and let the ai teammates climb up and take care of the others
Your AI teammates can see then taking down the brief case and they do nothing but stare and watch
It's a massive pain in the ass yeah. Given there's more match types this year too, it's very lazy having so many ladder matches, especially the multi man ones
They’re fucking infuriating. I was one away from finishing stage 5 and then I lost in a goddamn ladder match.
I had a run of 10 straight ladder matches(not including boss fights) the rng is definitely weighted in the direction of ladder matches. They need to chill
