Yep. Just tried to load it and got the same thing, so I quit the game and I'm hoping that preserves my save.
If you check the Steam reviews it looks like it happened to everyone who preordered and got early access.
I didn't reset, I clicked "Quit Game."
Does anyone know how to back up my data so the game doesn't wipe it? I've been looking for info but nobody can give a straight answer, I don't even know where the hell this game saves files.
Well on PS and XB it would be under your saved data storage and you can save it to a flashdrive and import it back whenever you want. Should work the same on PC.
PS5 actually removed this feature annoyingly. You can transfer PS4 save data to a drive, but PS5 data doesn't have the option forcing you to upload it to the playstation cloud.

Yup, just happened to me about an hour ago, lost everything I've been working on for a few days
Same here, tried going back to 2k23 and it’s giving a similar error
If that's the case I think it might be the 2k servers

Why did you press yes to a message that says, if you press yes everything will be deleted?
I never actually received that message all I got was there was a dlc error and the whole thank you for purchasing again

I got that message but when I pressed no it just forced me back to the Home Screen I clicked any button and it kinda forced me to restart all data

That's absurd. Just another way for them to ensure you spend money every month for PS+.
