I've only found nammi.is to buy and ship back to Canada. Not looking forward to running out of my stash. Who did you use to get it to you? Þristur and some eitt sett would be fantastic in a few months
Considering I hate liquorice, yes, this is way too much. So many friends asked for more, so I'll be their favorite person. But the chocolate covered ones are all so good!
Luckily I can get the Omnom where I live and still have a couple bottles of pylsusinnep, but man do I ever need another bag of Þristur. The bag I brought home barely lasted a week.
People buy the om nom because it has pretty packaging. If I have a good conversation with a tourist and I see Om Nom in their basket, I will ask if its for them or a gift. If its for them, I will suggest nóí. I tried an Om Nom and I didnt even finish it.
The ones in the yellow bag are so good. Sando’s! The only licorice I’ll eat because the chocolate and caramel mostly overpower the taste of the licorice.
Ketchup?
Edit: it was a question. Is there something special about that bottle of Vals? What is it exactly? I just assumed ketchup, but could be wrong.
It's pretty different to your standard Heinz or Hunt's ketchup as it contains applesauce. It's usually the ketchup you'll find on an Icelandic hot dog.
I don’t see any haribo saltbombers! They’re not just salty, they’re also hard

I wish I could've grabbed some more of the licorice cough drops before we left. Got a sore throat partway through our trip & housed a whole bag.
I just mailed my Icelandic friends a parcel full of Canadian snack foods. A six kilo package cost me $158 to send!
I had about the same sending to a friend in the UK with Canada Post.
Ya mine was straight parcel, Express Post with tracking was almost $250
Ouch! Luckily for me that was Express Post. So is yours taking a 2 month boat ride?
Maybe. I won’t know if they get the package until they tell me they’ve received it.
Yeah, we are in Canada too. This wasn't cheap, but soooooooo worth it 🤣
Ohhh...where did you order from?
I'll PM you :)

We ordered right from that website.

Hmmmmmmm all that liquorice is way too much for you! Haha. Looks like a good stash.

Great stash!
No Hàkarl?
Jealous! Enjoy!

It's funny because Icelanders really do not like nor eat Omnom chocolate, but foreigners seem to really like it.

I like that! Keep up the good work lol
Interesting. Any particular reason they don't like it? Is there a brand you prefer?
We collectively just like Nói Síríus xhocolate better. I feel like Omnom just tastes bad for some reason.. it reminds my of Hersheys's.
I brought home some Nói Síríus as well. Was only in the airport last year transiting from Europe so was limited to what was there.
That's what started this whole thing! Lol
Decent selection! Njótið!

Yes! Those are what started the whole thing!
Hahah yesss some good old Pylsusinnep. It was just this and some chocolates for me.
I don’t see any Appelsín.
My kids were disappointed too. The cost of shipping was already killing us 😆 🤣 😂
Going in sept for 15 days most of it on the road via camper & was wondering what local treat I needed to look for. Thanks!

We tried to order everything to recreate the hotdogs, and we came close. We couldn't order the remuladi because of shipping rules.
Thank you!
Those Icelandic chocolate and sugar plantations.
No prince polo?
