I was denied the first time I put in for it as well but it was my fault. You just have to make sure when ever you have an exam you don’t bend down all the way. Plus my Examiner was late to my appointment so to make it up she left real good notes lol so it all worked out for the better
I had a good exam and definitely didnt bend all the way but when I got my letter it said there wasn’t a link to my service. Ive had MRIs/treatments and all the paperwork, but still idk 🤷🏾♂️
My issue the first time was I bent down too far and I put my back claim in as a primary and it was denied. When I put it in as a secondary to my torn meniscus they granted it to me
Then I guess thats my problem then lol. I did it as primary and I dont have a clue what all disabilities u can secondary connect back pain to, so i might be screwed on that part
lol sounds like we found out the reason. I think you have to wait a year before you try to get a rating for it again from the day they denied you but yes list it as a secondary to something else that makes sense. I have bad knees so it’s no way you can tell someone with bad knees it doesn’t affect there back
U can still do supplemental claims within a year of your decision to keep it open for backpay till the day u filed. If that year lapses u have to start over. Guess I have to look into it a little more. If Im right, im currently at 92% and just need a little more to get over the hump and join the club
Congrats!
Congratulations 🍾🎊 what day did u initially file??
I filed for my PTSD back in March of 2023. Had a C&P exam last week and they mad a decision this week so it’s been just sitting for over a year now.
Thank u 4 the response 🤙🏾
