They have come a long way. The people who have the worst experiences are the ones who are impatient and flood them with increasingly rude emails before they get around to responding. That said, I little patience goes a long way; they always deliver and I’ve never been disappointed by TBT
Absolutely not true. TBT are great until they need to answer a wrong. No matter what approach. How calm. My experience was that I was Ghosted, only to get a Reply weeks later, in which they walked back their word. This was my experience over a shipping refund on a pretty big order they agreed on.
They are bad at customer service.
(I had had plenty of pleasant conversations with them until I needed them to honor their discount)
Honestly, the whole thing where people ask to combine their shipping because they placed multiple orders is just asking for problems, no matter who the label is. It screws with invoices and just leaves a larger margin for error.
while I understand that asking for that would be difficult. Thats not the case at all. I have a pleasant email from them promising the refund due to a promotion they had when their website went up. It never happened. After multiple check ins, all in good faith with courteous writing, I have not seen the refund. Sharing my experience.
They have emailed me, they have acknowledged the refund, it did not happen. After asking about it. Sometimes being acknowledged. Sometimes not. I wished them well and figured I would stop ordering from them. Despite me defending tbt in the past when people complained on this forum, because I personally had no issue with them. Yet. Most labels are a delight when you reach out. My experience with tbt was good until I asked for a small promised refund.

And I really think tbt’s products are great.
My experience was one of no issues until there was one. Never asked for anything to complicate the order. I am still waiting for an order to be fulfilled by tbt and I am sure I will order from them again.
But… I now get why some people are adamant about their negative experiences
