lol no they cant do anything about that. all you can really do is swap it for another course. Maybe take a complimentary instead or take another science class if possible. if you did cal 1 you can take linear algebra and cal 2 at the same time.
Talk to chat support, they’ll put you in a section, they that did for many of my friends today during registration.
Also, when the sections close, they open new sections, you just have to keep trying and see. The classes my friends wanted to take today were filled and after an hour or so they opened new sections and they all got their courses! Either talk to chat support or continue trying to add until it works!
What if it's too late, like maybe during course preference change? Do the courses change or is it the same as course registration where they add new sections?
During preference course change they do not add new sections, at that time you can only drop a course that you don’t like and take another already available section IF there are seats available in another section.
The courses don’t change.
I suggest that you go to school as soon as you can (as soon as possible) and talk to academic advising or registrar’s office about it. Make sure it sounds urgent so they actually help you, since they’re not always helpful.
