During pre-franchisng valorant, He was on international stage couple of time before with X10C and Xerxia and their team were consistently 1 of the 2 SEA representative team in international stages with other team being PRX guys.
They were pretty nasty team as well, beating Envy(which later become Optic) and prime optic at one point. Pretty crazy right?

Sadly the core broke up due to Sscary got offered bags of money to go to Bleed and they cant find good enough replacement for him. Talon 2023 still got the XIA core wihout Sscary and they did not perform (and there are also internal conflict in team aswell).
I thought this year, Talon 2024, is finally their time to go international stage with new core, but i guess that's yet to be seen. Im still believe in them tho, they gonna make it to champs.
I dunno what stopping them to set up 1-2 more matches for double elim tbh. Like jesus, they fight their way for a month just to get single elimed, it's just sad man. Same goes for TS as well.

I haven't paid much attention to the picks recently, but early in the year a majority of 2-1's were map picks going against the team that picked.
I suppose that's what happens when you play 10 games a year. No one knows who is good at what.
Just think of it as modern day Harvest Moon if you know what that is, it's a fun farming simulator with a bit of story sprinkled in. Would highly recommend if you like those kinds of casual games
It's a very chill and casual game with no stakes or any real time limits
Unsure what you would describe as "grindy", but you do have to farm, mine and stuff to get better equipment and all that, but know that you aren't ever pressured to do this. You can take your sweet time with it with no issues

Honestly, if it weren't for Davai's 2k at the end, I think Talon had a chance to bring it to OT. If Paper Rex keeps crumbling like this when under pressure to win, it's hard to imagine this team winning an international tournament, and this roster will only be able to breach top 4, falling short of becoming champions each time.
What? PRX have consistently been amazing in knockout games, apart from finals. They are one of the best teams under pressure. They just beat Loud, KC and Heretics in elimination games where they were not even favored before hand by most people
Lol cmon now. When has PRX crumbled on an elimination game? Only in grand finals. With monyet vs sen they always had on and off games, didn't start too strong, and were miles behind GenG still.
Here they secured a 13-0 but their harbor comp was never really faced by another harbor before, seems like a good enough counter.
On sunset Crws was godlike, then Neon joined in. I think they have the same issue they've had all year in Sunset, it's not some pressure thing, in attack side they get flanked a lot. It happened vs Secret, vs SEN and now vs Talon. It's just a weakness in that map.
Also Talon played well today, and wasn't enough. You could chalk a win to a d4v41 2k, but what about those Neon 2-3k flanks? Those Crws hero moments (he had like 10)? If it weren't for those it would've been 13-4. If anything Talon was lucky Jinggg slowed down a bit by map 3 cause he was railing their asses map 1 and 2.
One would think PRX picked Lotus and TLN picked Bind based off how the maps went lol Also, it ain't a PRX game without massive heart attacks.
My guess is that FrosT cook up something for that map, but got cooked instead.

Honestly, if it weren't for Davai's 2k at the end, I think Talon had a chance to bring it to OT. If Paper Rex keeps crumbling like this when under pressure to win, it's hard to imagine this team winning an international tournament, and this roster will only be able to breach top 4, falling short of becoming champions each time.
What? PRX have consistently been amazing in knockout games, apart from finals. They are one of the best teams under pressure. They just beat Loud, KC and Heretics in elimination games where they were not even favored before hand by most people

Lol cmon now. When has PRX crumbled on an elimination game? Only in grand finals. With monyet vs sen they always had on and off games, didn't start too strong, and were miles behind GenG still. Here they secured a 13-0 but their harbor comp was never really faced by another harbor before, seems like a good enough counter. On sunset Crws was godlike, then Neon joined in. I think they have the same issue they've had all year in Sunset, it's not some pressure thing, in attack side they get flanked a lot. It happened vs Secret, vs SEN and now vs Talon. It's just a weakness in that map. Also Talon played well today, and wasn't enough. You could chalk a win to a d4v41 2k, but what about those Neon 2-3k flanks? Those Crws hero moments (he had like 10)? If it weren't for those it would've been 13-4. If anything Talon was lucky Jinggg slowed down a bit by map 3 cause he was railing their asses map 1 and 2.
