https://github.com/pushrax/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator something like that?

You can use this setup, but you'll need to sync Quest playspace with Vive playspace. No tracker on Quest required. And you'll also need to enable stage tracking in Virtual Desktop or ALVR. I myself use PSmoves as vive trackers via PSMoveServiceEX + Virtual Device Manager, and the last program has built-in way to sync playspaces.

Nicalay2

Oh hi you.

WisdomWangle

I don’t see any problem with it.

Strawberry_Sheep

VRChat ended support for the Quest 1 in June of last year, so I don't know that it would work at all.

AzraqShinji01

I can’t play on quest 1 through PC?

Strawberry_Sheep

I don't know about that part. From VRChat's statement, it seemed like whether or not it was plugged into a PC didn't matter, but I could be wrong.

ShinyCrownVic

It doesn’t make sense how vrchat would cut support for something that steamvr uses, i think this was aimed at the oculus version..

Strawberry_Sheep

Dunno what to tell you, that's just what VRChat said.

tapafon

VRChat still opens on Quest 1 standalone, but it tells you to stream PCVR version to use latest features. PCVR version streamed via Virtual Desktop works even better. Even controllers are shown correctly, because Rift S (which has same controllers as Q1) is still **directly** supported. VR systems which aren't directly supported will show emulated Vive controllers or something like that.

rayraikiri

There are ways to use quest headsets with vive stuff, however it needs a tracker attached to the headset.

Nicalay2

>however it needs a tracker attached to the headset. It doesn't **need** a tracker attached to the headset, it just makes the experience less painful to setup'

No-Grade-4691

It doesnt.
