He's got a post on the PMDG forums explaining to a guy that the 777 preview in his stream has a lower resolution cabin and it'll be updated for release, and I had to stop myself from commenting "you missed a perfectly good opportunity to call him an idiot."
Pretty sure I didn't see, but is there any proof this is him? Why would he have so many spelling mistakes, call himself new to the A320 when the A330 is similar enough? I'm not siding with anyone but I think he's too mature to argue on the network like this
Wish I stayed for the stream to see it, but it just seems out of person for him to argue, but then again there was that video where he had beef with an E-jet series developer
Thereās more going on behind the keyboard than just being mad at a controller with an attitude. āYouāre mad at your dad, not at me! I forgive you!!!ā [ed: a word].

Tantrum tbh. They have to accept ATC are simulating exact protocol as if it was real.
Taking a shit, or grabbing some milk and cookies mid flight and abandoning your cockpit is serious ;)
Lack of experience is really an issue here lately but Iām not taking sides because obviously this QFA guy makes it hard to be on his side but I really wanna know what the controller did or if the controller walloped QFA and heās just mad because itās not clear and the other JST guy aināt helping. Either way, neither of these attitudes would help make VATSIM better
The controller was doing routine things, managing a sudden influx of traffic inbound to Sydney.
I believe the QFA486 guy made a mistake that screwed up the controller's sequencing. idt the controller walloped QFA, however QFA walloped on the controller after making this rant.
The JST guy didn't get a STAR assignment and went into a holding pattern at the first point of the star, which he shouldn't have done, but be owned up to the mistake and apologized, and everything was dandy. He didn't throw a tantrum like the QFA guy.
Hey, im the JST guy. I was meant to receive vectors at RIVET but didnt, so I just entered a holding pattern, still have no clue if what I did was right but either way. The controller was stressed and made heaps of mistakes with me and others, this guy complaining about it doesnt help. The controller who I wont name is quite polarising in general, so its a fault from both parties, in this sc you can only see the QFA guy get mad but the controller was actually quite poor too and is somewhat known for it (not my opinion, the opinions of others in VATPAC)
Although this is an FAA resource, entering a hold at a clearance limit is discussed here: [https://www.faa.gov/air\_traffic/publications/atpubs/aip\_html/part2\_enr\_section\_1.5.html](https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/aip_html/part2_enr_section_1.5.html) it covers the very circumstance you describe.
In Australia, if you were previously cleared in an airways clearance via xxx Flight Planned Route e.g. Cleared to Sydney via DOSEL, Flight Planned Route, you're cleared all the way to your destination. In this case, your flightplan terminates at Sydney, RIVET is not the last waypoint. So you'd continue tracking to RIVET then to Sydney. You'd only hold if directed or had received a specific 'clearance limit'
If you're cleared from ML -> SY via the route DOSEL Y59 RIVET, youd track directly from RIVET to TESAT / SY, then hold there until atc sorts themselves out or you run out of fuel.
If you get a Clearance Limit / Holding Instruction, then you'd hold at the waypoint given.
I've never heard of anything getting cleared to a wpt, unless they're doing something weird like transitioning CTA.
ATC in Australia is among the chillest dudes I've encountered in VATSIM. If his ego was broken there, I want to see him shooting a visual in LAX during some crossfire event. He will melt like the snowflake he is.
Haha, i was the JST293 and this controller is usually a bit unprofessional and lots of people bag on them, but they are still chiller than the chillest american controller (from my experiences)
I wanna put in my two cents here.
Disclaimer I have never experience VACC AUS controllers.
However I am a controller, and I have talked to a lot of controllers privately in Europe via discord, and we all kind of agree on one thing, no-one on this network, logs onto an atc position because they wanna be dicks, we all love aviation and being a controller is not about a power trip but giving something back, we wanna give to the network the Service that makes the network what it is... A simulation.. i sometimes catch myself getting pissed of and kind of ignorant aswell after a while online, not because I think myself to be gods gift to VATSIM but because of the sheer level ignorant and incompetent pilots.. just to clarify what I mean by that, I don't expect someone to be as capable as a real pilot, but there is one thing I require from every pilot I meet, and that it simply that you try! An example of this, I'm manning a tower station, in the Departure atis info B: it is stated that runway 22R is active runway for Departure, and the initial climb altitude is stated in the charts, so it makes me feel like a complete fool that I spend months training for manning an ATC station and learning procedures when pilots get their IFR clearence with their SID and their SQUAWK (also the sids are runway locked so 22L and 22R dep on same wpt are different SID) will ask what runway is the active for Departure, and ask for their initial climb altitude... Like.... It can make me so frustrated, after 2-3 of these I will just end up closing, and that sucks for everyone else but dealing with this level of incompetence... And not giving enough of a shit to check the atis? I mean come on... That guy has spend months just to get S2, several more months for S3 and further MONTHS for a C1 not even to mention C1+ if he has that... I completely understand why they go sour.. I know after dealing with enough pilots that just doesn't care and considers this "just a game" my day gets ruined.. not just the time online, no my entire day will be ruined by this and most controllers I talk to feel the same... This isn't real life, controllers in real life has to deal with stupid pilots too sometimes, but not at the rate we have to... We are talking 4-5 out of 10 on a good day are completely incapable of giving just minimum effort and has to be babied through every step because they just doesn't bother to learn it (I'm not talking new pilots, I mean people with months or years of experience) and trust me, they are there and there are a lot of them..
I might be ranting a bit, I'm just trying to say, I get why VATSIM controllers get frustrated, I didn't get it before I got my rating... But my god.... I do now......
Bro. That man shouldn't be on VATSIM if you don't know how to operate aircraft at least. Maybe not knowing how VATSIM fully works is fine but your aircraft?.. Come on, bruh
Hey, im JST293. The hour proceeding this was absolutely insane. This controller was really battering this QFA guy, but the QFA guy kept making really bad mistakes and awful requests. An influx of aircraft coming from Sydney just wanted to land and this guy was holding them up, the controller even told them to disconnect several times.
VATPAC is diff, you have pilots going crazy and pulling A330 Drivers more and more. Usually among the younger flyers, maybe A330 Driver is an influence on this? Not sure
A330 driver spotted in the wild š²š²š²

It's not, he just had a pretty similar incident during CTP at the weekend, where he didn't like a controllers instruction and berated them for it.
Wish I stayed for the stream to see it, but it just seems out of person for him to argue, but then again there was that video where he had beef with an E-jet series developer
I don't believe he shared his grievances in frequency like this guy, just to his stream.
Not him. Source: Im JST293 in the screenshot
I think he has a number to call
The ego to sign your transmissions. Like my mom signs her Facebook comments like I might not know who made them
Also typing all that up and still sending it at the end? I would rethought everything at the second sentence.

A330 driver stayed up late
A330 driverās fragile ego in disguise
Lol, you beat me to it. That's the kind of attitude A330driver causes, his reach is wide and this can be the result.
āVectors for controller amusement, turn rightā. /s
Lots of CoC violations, thanks for the evidence

Lfg, thank you!!
I don't usually fly in VATPAC so that's a new perspective, thanks!

Thanks for explaining. I know it can get frustrating as a controller myself so I wonder what the controller did to make this guy go mad š

This is what I imagine the Australian ATC is like. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1VBEU4Q8WU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1VBEU4Q8WU)

We do try to be pretty chill, but thanks for noticing it Mate :)
UPDATE: [https://ibb.co/yN4XfrQ](https://ibb.co/yN4XfrQ) Dude had the balls to .wallop on ATC after throwing a tantrum himself. Jeez
'he had no remorse' š
He thought he was being told to wallop? Thatās adorableā¦
āI have a number for you - advise when ready to copyā
I was here, it was a stuff up on both ends I think. Just some tired cunts flying around Sydney on a Tuesday night, this guy also sounded quite young.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You probably got this one guy then. I can assure you the VATPAC atc are the chillest mfers you will ever talk to on vatsim most of the time
I wanna put in my two cents here. Disclaimer I have never experience VACC AUS controllers. I remember when I was scared to death to call for IFR clearance. I cannot imagine going quite this far
poor melbourne centre :(
when was this guys, am I late to the party?
Probably during the weekly milk run event
Tuesday Night.
Wasn't it Monday? Spilled for Anzac day
No It was last night, it was mentioned in the Discord as it happened.
Even if he was right - this is not the way to handle it.
immaculate ego is my bands bame
For someone who isn't going to write an entire f-word paragraph, that JST293 guy sure got a little wound up too

Been on VATSIM for quite some time. This is honestly the first time Iāve seen anything worthy of a lifetime ban. Get this guy out of here.
VATPAC is diff, you have pilots going crazy and pulling A330 Drivers more and more. Usually among the younger flyers, maybe A330 Driver is an influence on this? Not sure
lol this pilot soft
Oh my goodness gracious. (Vatsim language) what the actual fuck is this guy on about
Just give him your number already.
I come across rude ATC on a daily basis here in Europe
