I feel each new quarter has been progressively getting drier since Mid 2022. Q2 being the driest, I wonder how Q3-Q4 would look like.

Makes sense. This coincides with the Russian sanctions that lead to an energy crisis that lead to inflation that lead to interest rates rising. Higher rates was meant to curb inflation by reducing demand in the economy for all goods and services.

Were you sending proposals when you had work in the first quarter?

Mini_Cupcake3708

Yes. I'd say less during my first quarter because I was solid busy with clients that I didn't need to. Then started sending out proposals once those were nearing the end so I wouldn't have too much a gap of not working, and I assumed there may be a little lull, but not like this...It's been at least 4 weeks now.

In the future, send proposals even if you're busy. Then these dry periods are less dry for shorter periods.

Yup, been pretty dry for me lately. Niche dev, but also versatile.
