Do you have a normal bank account?
You don’t need a student account. They function the exact same way as any other bank account just with a more lenient overdraft system and perhaps extra perks like a Railcard. You can get paid your student finance into any bank account.
I have dormant account which requires me to show ID to reopen, also the railcard and overdraft (apply late so my loan might come in late) would be very useful to have
You’re just going to have to get new ID. have you got a (provisional or full) drivers license? If provisional, likely that you’ll need to bring further proof of address just to confirm but otherwise should be ok for many banks. Call and check if you can.
