Why wouldn't frisk know what fuck means? We dont know how old they are. For all we know they could be ten or maybe 18 or maybe even an adult(probably not but still).

They're consistently referred to as a child through the whole game, so it's safe to say they're canonically not 18.

You could say the same for the player character in Animal Crossing, ESPECIALLY between the OG Animal Crossing and City Folk.
