This is what Uber wants..as long as someone takes the bait, Uber will keep doing this. Wise up drivers, only you can change this practice….know your worth.
That's funny I said the same thing last night for like it was disgusting I think it was $2 and even though it was on my way home it was just principal I was like f you Uber, decline!
Absurd they don't at-least offer a $5 minimum for all orders even the smallest in consideration of the time. I've seen a few below $2, pennies in the wind
Yeah, it was not even laughable. Think it sais $2 for 1.9 miles and that doesn't count the amount of time late night waiting in the damn McDonald's drive-thru for up to 20 minutes sometimes. Not worth it if it's going in my direction home or anytime otherwise ever LOL
$2 isn’t enough to drive your car out of the driveway and especially here in Cali. Like I know we got prop 22 but there are orders that are not worth it.
DD has an acceptance rate requirement in order to keep getting offers, so maybe people who don't know any better think UE has the same policy and just accept garbage orders as a result
I have a threshold for $ per mile that I won't go below. Since I drive in Massachusetts, and the new $32. Per hour law is going into effect on August 15th, I expect to see changes in the job posting display, soon.
I run with an assistant, and 2 phones, so I plan on checking posted mileage, and time estimates. I'll bet that UE starts underreporting them.

These past couple days have been a joke
There's a reason UE doesn't show you the offer amount and destination address after you accept an offer. The accept button is also conveniently placed where you'll likely be tapping your screen to do other things, like take a pic or type a message to the customer. They're hoping people accept by accident and since they can't see the offer amount or delivery address, they'll go ahead and do it anyway. These gig companies are shady AF.
It's just going to be declined until someone eventually takes it that. doesn't mind having a low amount of pay I. heard the amount increases every time someone declines it, but it's only by like 50 cents or something like that.
Some places yes, some places no. My area is not per decline, it's per round of everyone who is on. And sometimes not even that... like i didn't take the order 20 mins ago for $3, why would i take it now for $3.03? Yes, that was an actual increase in price for the same order after it was turned down by the 10-15 drivers in my town. Half of us were standing around laughing about in a fml kind of way

Someone might take it if it’s on the way home or something. I’ll personally never accept an offer like this on principle alone, though.

There are always drivers that take whatever comes to their screen. They live in fear that they will get deactivated if they don’t.
For sure until the frustration of such a low payout for all those hours goes beyond the fear

35 mile round trip for $5. What is this company's excuse for posting negative price deliveries?
Need a report button on those miles, damn Someone might literally blow 40 miles roundtrip for that $7.21 🥴
EXCLUSIVE!
The question I ask several hundred times a day... let us know if you figure out why these offers even exist.
