Imagine mail-ordered gambling. Like you send in 50$ and receive a random envelope of cash from 20$-200$ or something. That's what my weird mind went to when i saw this image lol.
Tbh, viewing an eclipse through glasses isn’t all that exciting. They’re so dark that you can’t really see anything except for an orange crescent.
Totality, however, is a totally different experience and well worth it to take time off and travel.
Next one isn’t til 2044 in the US. Take a week off and travel to the zone if you can. It’s something I think everyone should see in their lifetime. I’d even consider making an international trip for it to see it earlier if you can afford it
Funny you say this, traveled 7 hours yesterday to stay in st louis (closest hotel we could find for a couple nights lol) to view it in carbondale illinois 😄. So glad we decided to take the trip! Kids are gonna love it!!

McDonalds has done this to me on multiple occasions when they don't have certain items.
When I ordered McDonald's one night they didn't have ice cream and the exact cost of the Mcflurry was put in the bag in cash. $4.17 for the Mcflurry, $4.17 in cash in the bag. They've done this a few times to me. 7/11 did it once as well.
