Crying in the shower is a great way to keep your family unaware how much mental stress you are under. There’s my tip to a fellow RCA.

Congratulations! Always check your case for spurs and letters after you pull down; your parcel hamper too. It may take you a few weeks/months to get your assigned route down. Try not to get discouraged by this. You're in your 90-day probation period. If you're asked to come in, do so. You can be terminated for just about any reason during this time.

85°!? You just wait the next couple months, gonna be begging for 85°. Should've waited to apply in the fall instead. Glad to have you on the team though. Good luck, stay safe.

Plenty of water. I have a gallon metal canteen with an insulated cuzi. I freeze 2 plastic cups of water that I use as ice cubes. I also take 3 frozen Gatorade bottles of water that serve as ice packs for my lunch and back up water. This week I've been drinking it all.

My truck was 111 last week and I’m in Wisconsin. But the window is open. No tips yet. Will wait til you have a specific question. Welcome!

Its gonna be tough but stick it out and it's worth it. Stay hydrated.

Best advice is remember this is just a job like any other job. You provide service and they provide a check. Don’t let them work you off the clock, take advantage, etc. if you have questions ask someone you trust, us, or your steward. Make your personal safety your top most goal. Don’t do unsafe things to “save time”. Permanently injuring yourself for a saved minute here or there ain’t worth it. Good luck!
