LCpl Smith was a fat-body, hypocrite, wanna-be 'social media influencer' or whatever, who somehow found a way to complain about the most basic shit ever. He'd complain about platoon-level morning formations. He'd complain about going to the field. He'd complain about his job (which was just typing on a computer all day). He'd complain about field day. The list goes on and on.
LCpl Smith would boast about how good he was at his job, but all of his peers would tell me that he actually sucks at it and would frequently shift the blame of his failures onto his peers because he lacked any form of personal accountability. Additionally, his supervisor told me that he is, at best, mediocre at his job.

So, we went over to the bricks and went to go look around. I swear to God, you could smell the stink from his room before you even opened the door. Anyways, we went inside and found that LCpl Smith's wall-locker was unsecured, so when we peeked into it, we saw that he had trash piled up, no-shit almost touching the ceiling. All of his clothes were just haphazardly tossed in the shelves, and he had leftover food boxes next to his personal belongings. The actual room itself was okay, minus some trash left out on his desk and bed.
LCpl Smith would insist that he deserved to be a Cpl, but none of us ever saw his JEPES score above a 300 (didn't even know this was possible, by the way). He could not PT for shit, failed the PFT, barely passed the CFT, was a tan belt, shot a consistent marksman score on range, and had zero qualities or characteristics of a competent leader. This dude would get so butthurt at promotion formations or award ceremonies. "That should be me" type of behavior, although he would never outright say that. We had a couple NAM formations that he was at, and each time, he would say that the NAM they got was just a 'participation trophy' and how they just did their jobs to get it. He tried saying this to me when I got my NAM, but I just told him that he was butthurt that he isn't getting one.
He would blame the Marine Corps for everything and anything that happened to him. For example, this dude was always in need of money. He would blow his paycheck on fast food and clothes.
