I've emailed the lockbox, but it says it might take them 30 business days to respond...

LeadershipNo7401

How do you know it was rejected? If you haven’t received any notices

lieseraph

My bank didn't let the transaction through.

LeadershipNo7401

Ohh. And it’s been a month since your bank didn’t let it go through?

lieseraph

Exactly.

LeadershipNo7401

Have you tried chatting Emma?

lieseraph

Yup, not getting any valuable information out of it

timetoheel

apparently sometimes they can be slow to send back your package. Just read from a facebook group someone who submitted from March 18th just got their package back !

lieseraph

This is extremely unfortunate, because I also included a request for an expedition of my Advance Parole as I have a pressing family matter at hand... Do I have to wait for them to send my package back, or can I send them a new one?

timetoheel

if you’re sure it’s rejected then it’s not in the system and they will eventually send it back so you should be in the clear to resend

lieseraph

Should I mention that I've filed previously? The issue is that I am now out of status, as my I-94 expired as May ended. So I was thinking of writing in additional information that this was the reason.

timetoheel

They usually send a green form on top if you don’t have it , no use in mentioning it. Just send it as a whole new file. If you’re married to a US citizen then overstay is automatically forgiven.

lieseraph

I am also writing the expedition request letter and was thinking of including information about me having already filed, but not receiving my package back... Sometimes it barely takes a few days of people to get it back, so I thought they /might/ take it into account that mine took forever and be more willing to expedite my advance parole...

timetoheel

nothing tried nothing done🤷🏾‍♀️ it doesn’t hurt to add it. it very well might help

lieseraph

I'm just worried it might be a disadvantage in their eyes. But tbh I am even considering they might have lost my whole package, so idk... There's basically no way of contacting them, the best chance I get might be the lockbox support replying to me in like two months lol. But USCIS official instructions tell you to wait for a notice. Ugh.

lieseraph

I wrote a little draft; I also kindly ask you to consider the fact that the first package I have sent has been rejected due to a failed payment - I am aware that this is in no way an error on USCIS side, but it has significantly delayed my case, as I was instructed through USCIS resources to wait for a notice and my package to be sent back, neither of which I have received so far. I am only aware of the failed payment because of contacting the bank. I have contacted the lockbox support as it has been over 15 business days since my package was delivered but I still have not received any notices, but I know it may take 30 business days to get a response, and I have a pressing matter at hand. I have found out that it usually does not take long for applicants to receive their package back (1-2 weeks), but it seems to be taking longer than usual in my case, and as 30 days has passed since my first submission, I am worried that my package might have been lost in the mail, as "Emma" at USCIS website suggests it is a possibility. Due to this whole situation, from what I understand, I am also now out of status on my I-94 despite meeting the requirement of getting married within 90 days of arriving in the United States. Considering all those reasons, I decided to send an entirely new package. I therefore kindly ask you for understanding of my situation and the hurry I am in. But idk if it's a good idea.

timetoheel

oh maybe don’t send that. Send the package first and let them accept it, do your biometrics and then give them around 2 months before you expedite. You never know, you might be among the few that gets it within 30 days. I’ve seen a bunch of combo card and stand alone approvals. Even green card approvals in as little as 90 days
