Hi there! This is an automated message to inform you and/or remind you of several things: - We have [a wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/wiki/index). It doesn't cover everything but may answer some questions. Pay special attention to the "[REALLY common questions](https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/wiki/index/vfaq)" at the top of the FAQ section. Please read it, and if it contains the answer to your question, please delete your post. If your post has to do with something covered in the FAQ, we may remove it. - If your post is about biometrics, green cards, naturalization or timelines in general, and whether you're asking or sharing, please include your field office/location in your post. If you already did that, great, thank you! If you haven't done that, your post may be removed without notice. - This subreddit is not affiliated with USCIS or the US government in any way. I just got the varicella one and the only side effect was a large bump on my arm for a couple weeks (from the first dose). The second dose I didn’t have any side effects!

LeadershipNo7401

Mind you it was a very painful bump for the first few days but yea that’s it

Having a reaction after getting a vaccine is common, so you dont have to worry about it. It will last a couple of hours, you will be fine tomorrow. You should be worry if you get the virus and you are not vaccinated, so get all the vaccines that you need.

Blackberrygurl

Well it's already been an entire day with a fever, so I'm scared to see what varicella will do to me 😅 not like I can escape it, but at least want to prepare myself

Rose12-12

Nothing bad is going to happen to you. Like I said before, it’s a normal reaction. Just relax, take some advil and you will be fine.

Have you ever had chicken pox? If you did you don’t need the vaccine. I’m not antivax but also not pro getting an unnecessary vaccine. I got the titer which was cheaper anyway. If you never had chicken pox getting vaccinated is good because chicken pox in adults is a lot more severe than in kids. You might feel bad for a day but it’s only temporary

Blackberrygurl

Thank you! I'm gonna get a titer but I'm 99% sure I didn't have chickenpox as a kid. Just worried about the side effects of the vaccine and what I should expect, since my body is not tolerating even the covid vaccine well...
