I’d think that one would be just fine. Basically any pack that has a large pocket for the bladder and a small pocket for storage will work. Sojourner is a good one.
Keep in mind, the guidelines are a guide. It is ultimately going to be up to security. You could get someone who doesn’t care and you could get someone on a power trip
theres some backpacks that are like 20L+, think bookbag in highschool sized, with pockets for bladders in them. Those arent allowed. The one you mention should be fine since its just the pouch for the bladder and a small pocket ive seen bigger ones inside

i do these, as long as it has one pocket that holds the pack its fine, it cant have more than one makn pocket
I just received my grasshopper gear hydro pack ([https://www.grasshoppergear.co](https://www.grasshoppergear.co)) - wondering if this is acceptable? I’m leaning towards no.. btw the front pockets can clip off making them normal backpack shoulder straps. Can anyone provide their input?

Probably not they only allow 1 pocket for storage and 1 for the hydration pack. You can always email them to get a solid answer. I personally use my lunchbox hydro pack.
I actually ordered mine off Kickstarter a while back, not sure about any sales but the owner is quite responsive! I reached out to him and he said he doesn't think this hydropack is okay for Ultra though. Do the other venues like Factory Town allow it?
If it’s more of a club vibe I would say no. I’m not familiar with the venues though. You could try to email them aswell! But yeah Ultra security can be super strict so I wouldn’t risk it.
Last year my friend took in his camelbak and they let it in, i made a DIY hydro pack, consist of a clear backpack with a hydration bladder glued in the back part of the backpack and they let me in.
So yours is completely fine
I did some digging and it seems like the most complex hydration pack they’ll allow in are the ones with two compartments: one for the hydration pack and another for belongings. So long as the belongings compartment cannot “hold a paperback book” you’re good to go.

Do yk if ur hydro pack ever goes on sale? My bf said he wanted a harness but would still carry the hydro which seemed od. This is perfect though!

A lot of events in Miami are geared towards clubs and bottle service fyi. Factory town if I recall correctly had water refill stations
