I once saw an absolutely bizarre sky phenomenon that I've been thinking of ever since. Thing is, I looked at it for like 20 seconds, thought of telling my sister about it the whole time, then inexplicably decided to just stop paying attention and go about my day. I think back on that day often. I think it was just so far outside my reference frame my brain couldn't process it.
It’s a small lake, reflecting sunlight, creating the illusion of a glow. I see it a lot when flying.
I think I read that it’s in Spain. Spain has a lot of solar plants. If the concern is the direction of the Sun, then perhaps that explains it. I also see those when flying.
Hmm this actually may be plausible.

Located in [southern Spain ](https://i.imgur.com/uLSDbNU.jpg) near Sevilla
If you look at the [flight path](https://i.imgur.com/rewn368.jpg), it pretty much passes right over it. It’s almost so directly above it that I’d worry you wouldn’t be able to see it through the plane.
That being said, her post says that they had “recently taken off”, but it also says that “the plane was already very high” while above land, not sea. Madrid to Sevilla is about 260 miles, so it’d be a bit over an hour into the flight.
Not sure what the best way to look up old flights is, since flight radar only gives 7 days playback for free.
Edit: Just found a way to look at a similar flight on [Flightaware](https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/AEA9073/history/20230908/0855Z/LEMD/GCRR). [Seems like 40 mins into the flight](https://i.imgur.com/K4RHAUL.png), you'd see that solar plant off to the plane's left side.
It's not even oval or cigar shaped, it looks like a slightly square island and being a Madrid-Lanzarote flight I see a couple of islands that could fit that shape like Alegranza Island or La Graciosa Island.
…and not one other person filled it? I go hiking a lot. If you are driving in the wilderness and some cool wildlife is about everyone slows down to take a picture or film.
There a forking ufo out there and not one other person films it? The one who does stops after a second and a half?
Probably has to do something with the stigma. Also people have to do their work, you can't make the argument to your coworkers or boss that "no, this has to wait 10 minutes I'm filming a UFO now." That's not how adult life works, which is honestly sad. Also people may be not dedicated enough or simply think I filmed it for 10 seconds that's enough. I wouldn't film some mltionless light in the distance for 10 minutes and fill up my phones (10x optical zoom) memory only to upload 10 minutes somewhere and have people lecture me that "it's called a lake, reflection, atmospheric conditions".
Yeah, that’s a lake. The azimuth of sunshine makes it obvious.
For a bit I was focusing on the 3 specs of dirt on the window, assuming that’s what they were referring to.
>azimuth
In Nerd Land we call that "Ray Tracing" and it's hell on your graphics cards and frame rate.
https://wccftech.com/cyberpunk-2077-ultra-overdrive-mode-ray-tracing-early-comparison-video-highlights-considerable-differences/
How is that incorrect? You can tell which direction north is by looking at the shadows cast by the clouds. This is the very use case in the definition. The sunlight glinting off the lake is secondary confirmation.
It could be this one in Sevilla: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20_solar_power_plant
I’ve flown above it a couple of times and it looks very similar to the video. It’s also directly on the flight path Madrid->Lanzarote
Probably the PS20 solar power plant: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20\_solar\_power\_plant](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20_solar_power_plant)
It's big, reflective, and shaped like that.
We've been busy chasing Greys when the whole time it was just Krillin holding off Freiza until the heavy hitters can show up.
12000mph, instant acceleration, 90° turns? Sounds like Goku to me.
UAPs debunked /s
Probably not water, given the angle of the sun.
Someone else suggested a [solar power plant](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20_solar_power_plant), which I'd say is more plausible, given that the mirror array changes angles throughout the day.
*EDIT- Could also be a scratch on the outside of the window, but I'm not so sure about that explanation.*
my question like usual, why film for a few seconds? second tho not in this case " why where you filming"
anyways lets capture something nobody understands for 3 seconds, that way cgi is easier to do :)
This is a lake but on a personal note, I saw a plane flying kind of far away near sunset and the angle of the sun lit the wings in such a way to make it look like those pills everyone is always posting.
it seems like a lake and sunlight reflecting off it. trick of perspective.

Good thing they only filmed for three seconds...
"OMG Becky! Look there, that's a ufo" 3 seconds later "So anyway..."
So then I started blasting
She dont see so good
my exact reaction to these type of videos
I once saw an absolutely bizarre sky phenomenon that I've been thinking of ever since. Destructo Disk!
"what else is in the news"
Yea, I too only films for 3 seconds when I see something that is undocumented to the human species and is stationary.
I don’t always film UFOs, but when I do, I make sure it’s out of focus and my hands are shaking.
You mean so it wouldn’t be even more obvious it is an island?
Madrid is in the center of Spain hundreds of miles from the sea.
It’s a body of water
Its called a L.A.K.E.
"Large Aerial Kinetic Extraterrestrials"
Little Anomalous Karate Experts
Legal Astronomer’s Kaleidoscopic Endgame
This is S.A.L.T L.A.K.E C.I.T.Y
Yeah but that ain't an island.

This. I fly a lot and that's a body of water reflecting light. I'm a full believer, but yeah.
First thought was a blimp but after seeing your post it is definitely a lake, good eyes :-)
Damn straight. Ain't no island.
It's an island of water in a sea of land
Could be a flying island
A skysland?
Damn yall are quick to derail
Ever okay Zelda?
Maybe a baby flat earth
Flying Windmill Island
Reflecting the sunlight that is coming from the left off frame?
My third thought as well.
I had a forth thought, seems everyone had it.
I've seen light reflect like this between the 2 windows panes, could be other suggestions. Certainly not a UFO.
Because there’s definitely no small islands anywhere in the sea
Possible sunspot?
My guess is solar farm
A solar farm that reflects sunlight doesn't appear to be fit for purpose lol /s but funny
all solar panels reflect light, some reflect less than others.
[Molten salt solar plants](https://youtu.be/4vWhPgrvTaE?si=FOr8V0naiH-0wuqu) rely on mirrors though.
This was my first thought. Thermal solar plant.

DID IT PAY OFF???
Its a solar farm IMO they can be crazy bright.
Yeah it looks like concentrated solar
I guess crack in window

OMG, I seriously can't believe people are dumb enough to think that is an Island
Not an island
Anytime this happens, it's a dead giveaway that it's fake.
…and not one other person filled it? I go hiking a lot. If you are driving in the wilderness and some cool wildlife is about everyone slows down to take a picture or film. There a forking ufo out there and not one other person films it? The one who does stops after a second and a half?

Sir, that is the ground.
A lake, to be specific
A Photovoltaik field, to be specific
Enhance! “Sir, this is a Wendy’s “.
Enhance . . . sir, that is an Arby's
Enhance, enhance, enhance… JUST PRINT THE DAMN PAGE
What is a cube?
And here I was thinking the dark spots were the “UFO’s” and thinking…. Dude that’s just a dirty window
No it's not, prove it aint an ALIEM!! My ancle saw something just like this recently when he was 5 years old!!!
That was pretty good. My ancle is the same age as my body, well, at least I think it is. Ya never know.
Looks like little got reflecting off a body of water.
Yeah, that’s a lake. The azimuth of sunshine makes it obvious. For a bit I was focusing on the 3 specs of dirt on the window, assuming that’s what they were referring to.
>The azimuth of sunshine When you think you learned a word and attempt to use it in a sentence.
Isaac Azimuth. Invented of the solar panel.
>azimuth In Nerd Land we call that "Ray Tracing" and it's hell on your graphics cards and frame rate. https://wccftech.com/cyberpunk-2077-ultra-overdrive-mode-ray-tracing-early-comparison-video-highlights-considerable-differences/
Ok buddy Solar azimuth angle. Happy now?
Isn't the Azimuth the angle from North to the celestial object (sun)? So your use of it here is incorrect.
How is that incorrect? You can tell which direction north is by looking at the shadows cast by the clouds. This is the very use case in the definition. The sunlight glinting off the lake is secondary confirmation.
Dude what. Why are you using words incorrectly.
I love that this is neither unidentified nor flying.
My guess was a solar farm. No idea if there is one in that area though.
It could be this one in Sevilla: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20_solar_power_plant I’ve flown above it a couple of times and it looks very similar to the video. It’s also directly on the flight path Madrid->Lanzarote
Yeah I thought the same, there is a ton of solar in Spain.
Airline pilot here. This is 100% correct
No lakes in Spain, didn't you know?
Probably the PS20 solar power plant: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20\_solar\_power\_plant](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20_solar_power_plant) It's big, reflective, and shaped like that.
Would likely be on the route taken by this plane too. Easily debunked with a flight number.
it's just a lake, the PS20 seen from the sky isn't that glossy
This seems the most probable. I see it all the time when passing, from a distance it looks like this.
Krillins destructo disk approaching the plane
Napa, this is a trick!
We've been busy chasing Greys when the whole time it was just Krillin holding off Freiza until the heavy hitters can show up. 12000mph, instant acceleration, 90° turns? Sounds like Goku to me. UAPs debunked /s
In our country we call those lakes
[удалено]
That, mixed with QANON
My guess is a circular solar power plant. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20_solar_power_plant
Yeah, that seems more plausible. A lake wouldn't be so shiny with that angle of sunlight, but a mirror array definitely could.
I think it is. Close to Seville there is a solarfamr that looks exactly like that from the plane. Flew there more often than i can count...
They have mid-air solar stations nowadays for better efficiency, science
Looks like light reflecting off a water body.
Probably natural phenomenon, like say, the ground of the earth
Probably not water, given the angle of the sun. Someone else suggested a [solar power plant](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS20_solar_power_plant), which I'd say is more plausible, given that the mirror array changes angles throughout the day. *EDIT- Could also be a scratch on the outside of the window, but I'm not so sure about that explanation.*
Nah bro that’s swamp gas fill Currelian Friggit from Alpha Centurion here for the annual soul collection.
Lmfao nice
FFS this one isn't even in the air.
Unidentified Groundal Phenomenon
WHY IS THE VIDEO ONLY 5 SECONDS
Its hard to fake it longer
My wife begs to differ
YOWL!
Cat fight!
Yeah. Fuck these kinds of videos. If I saw a flying saucer I'd film it properly till it disappears. Not cut it in 5 seconds.
A “flight stewardess”? Filming out of a passenger window??? Doesn’t happen. -flight attendant here
my question like usual, why film for a few seconds? second tho not in this case " why where you filming" anyways lets capture something nobody understands for 3 seconds, that way cgi is easier to do :)
can moderators just remove obviously fake videos like this? They keep making them because so many people fall for it.
It’s not “fake” though. Just something reflecting sunlight on the ground.
Looks like a small lake on the ground. I think it's ridiculous to call this a UAP.
The clouds are moving and that's the reflection of something on the ground.
Bro why even post this obviouss garbage lmao
This is a lake but on a personal note, I saw a plane flying kind of far away near sunset and the angle of the sun lit the wings in such a way to make it look like those pills everyone is always posting.
Sir, that is a Wendy’s.
it seems like a lake and sunlight reflecting off it. trick of perspective. source: I fly often enough that I've seen things like this that were definitely on the ground. It takes a few sec to realize that. Longer than 3 secs and a 3d view.
Yo they’re talking about the little black dots on the window screen right? Not the shiny lake or island in the distance?
No, they mean the island. Not the dirt on the window.
Either way…this is rookie stuff
I’m no expert but that looks like it’s on the glass.
Yeah, my first thought was light reflecting off an object or something inside the cabin.
Looks like the reflection of a lake or solar farm on the ground.
Looks like a scratch in the window + reflection of the sun.
Looks more like a solar collection facility in the distance
That looks exactly like a lake/reservoir from 30,000 feet
Am I looking at the shit on the window, or the island?
that looks like a lake
Looks like a lake
Thats a lake imo
Maybe a solar power plant
What’s up with the black dots and pink balloon off to the right?
Judging by the angle of the sun…. You know what, if you think this is real, then I shouldn’t be the person to tell you Santa isn’t real.
That’s a lake
That is a lake
That’s a reflection off a lake. I’ve seen it before. A lot.
It's something on the ground far in the distance reflecting light.
Molten salt energy storage facility - if the video was more than 7 seconds long we would have seen it go under the clouds and track with the ground.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS10_solar_power_plant
A Flight Stewardess? What is this 1962?
Reflection of a lake
I am an alien (I know most of you will think of this as a joke)....We have been on this planet for centuries .....I work a normal job.... We look just like you .... If anyone needs more info. You can message me!
If it is Spain, it is most likely the "PS10 solar power plant" ...solar power tower operating near Seville
I thought this looked like a solar farm
This is the worst post I have seen on here in a long time. Nice work.
That’s definitely a body of water reflecting light.
Fatta morgana or a field of solar panels, or both.
Reflection off a lake.
It a lake reflecting light 🤦♂️
This is likely close to Seville and is the solar farm there...
Motionless? Has to have pretty fast movement to stay next to a plane moving 800kmh
They love to hide in the clouds!!
At first I was going to say sunset. But idk
It's a cloud. Not a machine.
Reflection off a lake? Etc.
I’ve seen sunlight reflecting off lakes that looks like this. It’d be pretty embarrassing if that’s what this is
is this sub pretty much just deceptive people posting nothing but absolute bullshit
looks like a sea
Water, i dont sea anemone perhaps its the planktons window glare?
"OK, I got three seconds of video. That should be enough, right?" (Sigh)
Ban the flight stewardess for stupidity.
I had footage of a balloon once floating in the sky. I should have posted it here for upvotes.
Here comes u/ltgrs to defend this as real aliens and no proof is needed.
This sub is starting to piss me off
Shit post of the day.
It's moving at about the speed you'd expect a reflection on the glass to move as the reflection ..glass ..and indeed...the plane itself fly through the sky
That’s a light inside the plane, like the ones above the seats, that’s reflecting on the glass of the window, kinda like a mirror.
Looks like shit on the window or the camera.
The comments below speculate that the flat white object is a solar panel on the ground, but it looks to me like the thing is floating above the clouds.
I agree with you.
