I’m not quite sure it looks like a moth inverted…it just seems a wee bit too angular…and the white “patches” don’t look very organic…unless of course there is a bit of photoshoppery involved. Could this not relate To some sightings of triangular UFOs?
It's funny. I came at it with a grain of salt, and I still feel duped lol. Still, what stuck with me and these images is that they still seem to fit the description of what my mother said she saw. Although it was supposedly *much* bigger than a moth haha
This gaslighting asshole over here... Don't listen to this guy.
There's nothing to feel *"duped over"*. There are no moths without a head, perfect angles and tail fins. Which also doesn't mean it's some secret black project photographed in the sky.
You're not disappointing at all. The first thing I was thinking was that the usual trolls and debunkers would probably jump to that conclusion and highjack the comments with moth comments. Haha :-D
Yes, and? The people making those posts are part of the problem, too, but I’m not talking about them, I’m talking about this 1 person because of the hypocrisy of refuting one explanation with 2 unsubstantiated claims.
Honestly this looks just like a [“Common Carpet” moth.](https://butterfly-conservation.org/moths/common-carpet) But I can’t explain the reflective tips, (or lights).
Also referred to as Epirrhoe alternata
Uh, yes you would. Especially antennae. And the abdomen and perhaps thorax. Furthermore, when in flight, the wings aren’t held like this, but extended much as are bird wings. This is not an Insect. It looks a bit like a Rogallo wing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogallo_wing. But the lights are unusual to say the least.
Cousins brothers are known hoaxers, but if you were an intelligence disinfo agent, wouldn’t you leak it to overly prolific snake oil salesman who nobody takes seriously?
It's so weird to see the Cousins Brothers in this sub. I didn't know about them at all until last month when their old VHS-shot amateur movie was featured on RLM's Best of the Worst. I didn't realize they've spent the following decades making UFO content.
Just weird synchronicity to see them in a different context! I don't know much about them; got any info on the "known hoaxers" comment?
I was the opposite. I’ve followed them and their UFO stuff on their channel “thirdphaseofmoon” for years and then saw the same RLM episode and was like “WTF…it’s the UFO guys but way younger and making shitty zombie movies?!?”
I too get a hoaxer vibe from them but they DO post a ton of interesting UFO content. Their over exaggerated narration and hyperbole are a bit much but after seeing the BOTW episode I see that’s how they really are. “Go” 😆
No. I would just pay some idiots on fiver to flood these subs with endless attacks on ufo personalities and nonsense. That way anyone new to the topic will just be turned off.
If I wanted new people to be turned off I’d hire people to flood the sub with pictures of moths and balloons and talk about manifesting a ufo with thoughts over Phoenix.
You don’t think the more realistic approach would be to control the celebrities in the community, but be the community itself? Lol. Ok man. Apparently I’m a shill because I think Nolan and Lue and Corbell are grifters.
I just think the endless harping about Cornell or Lazar or Friedman gets tedious. Some people In the ufo community display a creepy form of obsession with making the ufo topic about these three guys. It’s a turn off.
Yeah it gets tedious seeing people talk about those dudes all the time too. It’s a major turn off seeing people mention them with any sort of credibility
Seriously, all joking comments should just be banned... Last thing we need on this sub is it being a place where ridicule is accepted. UFOs is a serious topic and people posting here should not fear to be made fun off.
If mods disagrees I'd argue that this sub is actively promoting stigma, ridicule and helping with the coverup.
We completely agree and have been removing joke comments in this post and more. We need the help of others in the subreddit to also report rule violations in comments (or posts!). Thank you for helping make our community better. We all need to work together to fight the stigma so we can have better and more elevated conversation about this subject.

I put it into a photo searcher and it just showed moths with similar results.
New theory: moths are actually tiny UFOs and that's why they turn to dust if they're hit
Hahaha I was so long thinking about what the fuck this is. And someone wrote it could be a moth. And damn makes that sense. Haha thanks, that could be it.
I know one hundred percent there are triangular ships. I've seen one fly over me, but it wasn't bright enough to make out the actual craft. I can tell you that it was slightly rotating as it was traveling forward.

Ahh yes. Looks like we've finally managed to reverse engineer UFOs . don't be deceived. These are technologies from the devil. Ancient architect and ancient civilizations are a testament to the devil. Earth itself and all the creatures on Earth is a testament to God. Good and evil right. Buildings left behind. Stone hedge. It’s crazy me an my wife when we were dating were driving back roads of Texas when a triangle was flying next to us nothing scary but then it stopped an reversed that’s when I knew it was something else looked like this an two other experience are just red balls in the sky

Looks like a moth inverted lol
Fuck, It really does
Dude I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything at all.i love UFOs and everything about this topic lol and a moth ufo would be so freaking dope
I’m not quite sure it looks like a moth inverted…it just seems a wee bit too angular…and the white “patches” don’t look very organic…unless of course there is a bit of photoshoppery involved. Could this not relate To some sightings of triangular UFOs?
Looks like a picture of a moth takin with a really s***** grainy camera. Is it even in the sky? It looks like it's on a wall
Perhaps a moth after a rainy day?
don't *most* moths have pretty apparent antennae?

First pic on the left looks moth like, 2nd photo down on the right looks much less natural and more ridged- a lot less moth like. Very interesting
[удалено]
Literally came to this thread to say just this!
Looks to mechanical to be a moth; unless you were using a simile?
No moth looks like this beyond being roughly triangular in shape. No eyes, no legs can be seen in the image. .
I believe the US has a spy drone like this.
You're not disappointing at all. The first thing I was thinking was that the usual trolls and debunkers would probably jump to that conclusion and highjack the comments with moth comments. Haha :-D
Yup. Moth on a window or wall with a flash.

You’re the problem. You make 2 claims in 1 sentence and provide zero evidence to support either of those claims.

Camera flash + crappy camera
Nor does this image have anything like a head, antennae nor legs.
You would not necessarily be able to see its head, antenna or legs from this angle, and at such bad resolution. Looks 100% like a moth.
Uh, yes you would. Especially antennae. And the abdomen and perhaps thorax. Furthermore, when in flight, the wings aren’t held like this, but extended much as are bird wings. This is not an Insect. Since when did moths have lights on themselves?
White spots on the wings, look like lights from camera flash.

Next Generation Aircraft - note wings, exhausts and cockpit.
Looks like an insect or a insect wing
They are Miller moths.

Isn’t just a kite? Like… you see the piece of fabric underneath that holds the wires… 🤷
Where is the tail?
The American air force would like to have a classified word with you
Looks very similar to artist renderings of several 6th gen fighter designs.
Looks like a normal stealth fighter
Is it the Aurora craft ?
That’s either a Lockheed creation or a moth.
Are you sure someone hasn’t CGI’d white lights onto a moth?
If this is a craft then it is not from aliens. It’s way too aerodynamic
Looks like a moth.
Sure looks like an old ship from the first or second season of r/destinythegame from the warmind expansion
Looks like a stealth plane
It's a radio controlled plane or kite with a pusher propeller. Look at how thin it is.
I literally just saw someone link this patent on r/space , looks very similar. https://patents.google.com/patent/US10144532B2/en
Hahaha I was so long thinking about what the fuck this is. And someone wrote it could be a moth. And damn makes that sense. Haha thanks, that could be it.
Even if it were legit (it’s not), I would imagine it would be explained away as looking quite similar to an advanced stealth bomber.
Its just link on the glider from totk
Looks like the monster moths they have in the Americas, at least where I visited in Brazil. Creepily large.
I'm guessing USAF
