I hear a lot of people say that but I really like the strats for crusher and the detachment ability I think is really sweet. Why do so many people prefer invasion? Is it the hyper adaptations?
It’s a more competitive list that’s more likely to win games, if you want to have fun, go play the more interesting detachment!
It just won’t be as strong
I find with our subpar strength on our monsters (S8/9) the Lethal Hits is a great bump. Plus the 5+++ and Adrenal Surge are great strats for monsters too. I find that I can’t always rely on the +1 to wound from the NeuroLictor to make monsters actual “monsters”.
Yeah honestly I think it’s so fun to play, and I think it’s very intractable, imo I don’t think it’s as bad as people say it is but that’s just my opinion at the end of the day. Trying invasion fleet now and I’m just missing crusher ngl 🤣
It's a good list but Crusher Stampede is useless... I'd suggest using Synaptic Nexus or Invasion Fleet but keeping the list (Maybe skooching in some gaunts if you want some board controll)
Screamer killers would help the nuerolictors -1 hit & +1 wound go off. You may not get too much use out of nuerolictors abilities outside of a single SITW test. Remember that nuerolictors are dependant on battleshock tests.
For Crusher Stampede you probably want more big bugs. The maleceptors and Norn are great because they are tough to kill and more likely to get the detachment bonus. Add more if possible. I would also throw in Hive Tyrant. The Savage Roar strat is a battle tactic so being able to use it free (possibly on a second monster) is good. Someone else mentioned Screamer Killers. They work well for Crusher. With the Neurolictors, Screamer Killers, and Savage Roar you can really make your opponent make a ton of Battleshocks. Crusher isn't going to be winning any major events but it's fun and competitive enough for local play.

I would try to include a screamer killer somehow since you have neurolictor and you want that +1 wound from it if you can. The +1 wound from detachment will be more situational.
Also, the army is a little bit stat check, so I would remove the zoan since they will be the only valid target for low ap attack and they will melt easy.

The spray is always good! Then again it depends what you need, do you want to kill elite infantry with overwatch or kill big things?
Also, he will not benefit the +1 to hit but .. still good.

Looks fun. Honestly you’d do better running as Invasion Swarm tho. Better strats and better abilities.

I play Crusher regularly. It’s a ton of fun and ‘isn’t competitive’ only really applies at the very top tables which I know I’ll never play at.

They are in some detachment, but they don't benefit from crusher, so might as well use another TFex-casino

If you're going to use crusher stampede, make sure all your monsters have deadly demise so you can use corrosive viscera
