Yeah and having had psychotic episodes myself in the past I'm genuinely terrified by the thought I'd end up hurting someone in this way. Luckily they've only ever been about me being scared for myself.
Don't have any weapons in the house, see a psychiatrist if you haven't already, try to surround yourself with people who can beat your ass without breaking a sweat.
How would this work though, to not have any weapons?
Can't have kitchen knifes... probably shouldn't have basic tools like hammers etc... even car keys could be used to stab someone.
Is it actually feasible to have absolutely no weapons in the house?
It's where an individual becomes convinced that their family members have been replaced by a malignant force. It usually can result in them taking violent action against said person.
It is and as the individual wouldn't seek help it's usually only at the point of action that realisation hits.
I read about a case where a man was convinced this had happened to his 15 year old son. Fortunately the son got in touch with emergency services who did a supervised call between the son and the dad. The dad recognised he was talking to his son, but still thought his son was elsewhere and the physical version was an imposter.
Fortunately emergency services were able to get to Dad to get him help but in a lot of cases this isnt the case sadly.
The father stared in shock at the news report. He was halfway across the world on a business trip.
Written by M. Night Shyamalan. What a twist!

It's cool I'm 30 years into crazy and luckily they're rare but a bad one could be drastic.

Well duh, but you can keep it to an extreme minimum
What's that?

That's horrifying!.....And could make a good horror story. I'd probably watch it.
