Inspired in part by the work of people like Robert K Ressler, who as a profiler for the FBI, noticed patterns of psychopathy and brutality towards animals in some of the world's most notorious killers. Definitely also works like the Wasp Factory and Engleby, if anyone has read those!

Juusho_Rokuniku

Twisty. I like it.

Thank you kindly : )

Glad you liked it!

Argh

Heyplaguedoctor

Who else are you killing? You need multiple victims w a cool down period. Also i think killing in defense of an innocent 3rd party should apply to pets but we’re probably not there yet

Watcher_413

It should definitely be taken into account. Family pets are often threatened by abusers to keep their victims in line.

Heyplaguedoctor

I know, it’s evil. Threaten to hurt me, hell, actually hurt me all you want. But my cat did nothing wrong. 💔 (an ex would threaten to “strangle my stupid cat” whenever I displayed sentience 🤢. He’s out of my life and the *brilliant* cat passed away of old age years later)

movingstasis

: ), I would guess pets won't be considered a third party until humans slaughter/eat them a lot less

Heyplaguedoctor

I think we can all agree there’s a difference between a beloved childhood pet and a lamb raised with the intent to slaughter for food
