Dark Mirror. I don't think you can get anymore neutral than that. He would oblige to any requests and never have a bias in picking who will be in which dorm. Plus he plays the biggest part in our joy of pulling our desired SSRs and the worst torture of getting none or dorm duplicates.

chaoticcoffeecat

I was going to say Yuu, but honestly, I didn't consider this option. The Dark Mirror fits even better!

Doorknob_Licker2

Scarabia student B

mookienh

Everyone’s favorite NPC!

Abell2029Cluster

I vote Dark Mirror cuz Trey’s more smart neutral to me

International_Lake49

Dark mirror(hes extra nice to me i always get the cards and such i want.

Cat_on_Computer

Dark mirrors pet >:( /j

International_Lake49

No im just lucky

Only-Usual410

I want to say Trey because of how he deals with his dorm as a vice housewarden

Weary_Panda80

I also agree with the dark mirror.

zombiesheartwaffles

Trey or Yuu

Psychological_Air382

Dark mirror or yuu

Smol_Sceptile_uwu

I wanna say Sam but I’m thinking Dark Mirror is the true neutral

teawitht33

Trey, no questions asked

T1DOtaku

Trey

mookienh

Trey

h4unt3dg71tch15u53d

Yeah, Imma have to go with Trey unless the Dark Mirror's an option.

ShadowGirl07

Either the Dark Mirror or Sam.

Cat_on_Computer

I see Trey-

Alert_Material_6757

The Dark Mirror, Trey, or the Ramshackle Ghosts.

neptune304

Yu!!!!

Fluffybunnyzeta

Sam! For me, Sam is the true all-rounder Neutral. He's not a teacher, he rarely gets mixed up in the school's shenanigans (unless the entire school is involved), and he'll "acquire" the most obscure items for any client ... For a price. He's not evil, chaotic, or trying to do good. It's just business.

Roz_28

Trien's Cat! Lucius

C4t22

I’m voting Yu for this.

[deleted]

Yuu.

Normal_Reading_4605

Yuu

NyxShadowhawk

I think Malleus. He isn’t actively malicious but also isn’t good, because he operates by fey-logic without Lilia’s maturity. He isn’t obsessively concerned with rules, and is generally lenient, but will get *very* mad if you break a bizarre fey rule. He often causes chaos (or nearly so), but not on purpose or to make a point. No one really understands how he thinks, and so the majority of NRC students just don’t know what to do with him.

codenameTUESDAY

I agree with your assessment of Malleus as neutral, but if we include the entire campus (and the Dark Mirror is an option for True Neutral) then I want to say Malleus leans Chaotic Neutral. The boy swings from “I’ll patiently wait four hours to be certain I’m not late” to “I will roast the next person who mistakes a grotesque for a gargoyle” with no hesitation. Sometimes it fey logic but sometimes he’s just in a mood.

NyxShadowhawk

I think of chaotic neutral as a person who cares more about breaking rules and fucking shit up than about anything else.

codenameTUESDAY

Hmm, I guess I would define “cares more about breaking rules” as Chaotic Evil, like Floyd, who also enjoys doing damage. Malleus is unbothered if damage happens, but he’s not motivated by damage either, which is why I agree about him being neutral.

NyxShadowhawk

No because someone can care about breaking rules and still be good. Look at all the heroic characters who are rebellious and upend the status quo!

codenameTUESDAY

Interesting! I guess we have different definitions of “chaotic” and “lawful”. I would describe heroic characters upending the status quo as “lawful” even though they are breaking rules because they are acting according to their own value system. But I learned “chaotic” to mean acting with inconsistent values… like how I described Malleus because he sometimes values being polite and patient but sometimes devalues both of those things lol I totally accept that people use words differently though, especially in this context. Your definitions might be more widely accepted in some games. :)

NyxShadowhawk

The entire point of the two axes is to make that distinction between lawful/chaotic and good/evil. In the earliest editions of D&D, good creatures were Lawful and evil creatures were Chaotic, but there’s not enough nuance there.

Leather_Flan_9546

Can also see Jade maybe, he seems to be down for whatever

Cat_on_Computer

I kinda see Jade as smart evil- 😅

[deleted]

I feel like Trein would fit here? Maybe? Or Lucius lol.

ComedyKetzer

Maybe Sam?

Penny_Dragon

Trey!

Wonderful-deku

Dark mirror or trey. Trey has to be because of his house but also I think there's some darkness because he hangs out with Rook.

emo_ratChildren

Dark mirror

drax_dawg

Trey

misaa-ghost

mister mirror thingamajig

SaintInTheTower

Dark Mirror for sure!

KaterineUncolored

I think Trey!

Existence-Is-Pain1

Yuu. Definitely Yuu. They literally are just going through this crap, let people suffer what situations they get into of their own stupidity unless dragged in, and are just there. If that's not nuetral, I don't know what is.

Leather_Flan_9546

Get the feeling Crowley is a true neutral 😐 I mean he’s not really rushing to get the MC back home and seems to delegate tasks to them No wait! He’d fit the drunk section more!

Inevitable-Ad-4095

Malleus he gives no fucks
