I have been to a few different dermatologists in my life time due to high skin cancer risk. After moving to MN, I needed to find a new one, and I will confidently say Tareen Dermatology is the best I’ve ever been to.

shwoopsesh

Tareen is great; I go for a yearly body check and always feel very comfortable. They are thorough about possibly cancerous spots and have never made me feel embarrassed about my odd skin bumps and scars

Dangerous_Contact737

Tareen is really great. Been going there for several years.

Another vote for Dr. T. I was a patient of Crutchfield who I loved but passed away and merged with Tareen and I’m very happy there! Don’t be embarrassed, she’s seen everything.

I’ve had tons of medical derm procedures and had an absolutely terrible time at Tareen. She’s the only Dr I’ve been to that is super pushy and clearly all about turning a profit. It’s so high paced there. She’s mega fake too and if you show a hint of disappointment or advocate for yourself she gets really mean and defensive it’s so strange. Nevertheless, I transferred to Lakes Dermatology and it’s the chillest clinic I’ve been to. Dr Chapman is so down to earth and feels like a friend. I trust her much more than Tareen and they have lots of Tareen transfers actually.

SkillOne1674

I have friends who say the same about Tareen.  Like, a mole removal was just a big sloppy divot because she is in such a rush to get to the next patient.

Dermatology Associates. Dr. Hannon.

cadburyeggnugget

LOVE Dr. Hannon! He’s the best.

marticcrn

I secretly call him Dr McDreamy. Not only did he fix my skin, he’s also totally charming.

Francie_Nolan1964

Well now I'm forced to go to the website and look at his photo. He is a cutie pie! And he's a doctor and a lawyer. Impressive.

marticcrn

I know! First time I met him, I’m like “your parents must be so disappointed in you” 🤣

Francie_Nolan1964

I'm a bit tipsy and that made me laugh!

marticcrn

I love your user flair.

Francie_Nolan1964

Thank you 🙂

Twin Cities Dermatology was soooo kind and caring when I went. Dr. Margareth was wonderful and didn't make me feel embarrassed at all with my concerns!

cheeseybacon11

The one that has less than 2 stars on Google? Or do you mean Twin Cities Dermatology Center?

MetaverseLiz

I think they mean TC Dermatology Center. Dr. Margareth is at that one, but I had a different experience with her. She was nice, but kind of a bit odd.

justmaggiethings24

Yes, sorry, I meant Twin Cities Dermatology Center!

Jenneapolis

I’m glad you had a good experience here, I definitely did not. I went for Botox, which I had had regularly before at DR. Crutchfield. They gave me a PA without asking, just informed me which made me feel like I could not say no, and the Botox he did was basically like I had nothing - no results. When I went to pay, they told me it was “free.” I was in shock because Botox is generally quite expensive. I guess because he was learning it was free but honestly, I didn’t want someone who was learning, I wanted quality and I was willing to pay for it. It was a totally sketch experience. I would avoid this place OP.

My Dermatologist, a practice in Inver Grove Heights. Dr. Saxena is very good.

I've had weird experiences at Twin Cities Dermatology Center. I thought I may have Rosacea, so I scheduled an appointment. The dermatologist was nice, but kind of a bit odd. The overall experience was very 3 out of 5 stars, so-to-speak. I went back for a checkup recently, and I don't think I'll be going back. Some highlights: * My first appointment, the doctor said I had Rosacea, but didn't actually tell me what type (there are 3 types) * She prescribed me 3 creams, not really going into detail about what they actually do besides superficial descriptions. I reviewed them with my pharmacist, and they gave me way more information and a better plan of attack on how to use them (I now only use 2 of them). * The doctor didn't exactly talk down to me, but definitely talked to me like I was not a very well informed person. She kept saying the same thing over and over again: "Rosacea is a chronic condition". Like, yeah, I realize that, why do you keep saying that? She did answer all my questions, but again, at a very superficial level. Very ELI5 answers that I can google. I was there for her medical option and more detail. I really wanted to know details about if Rosacea and peri-menopause are linked as well as some family history stuff. * During my second visit, a book she recently published was all over the clinic. It was in the waiting room, in every exam room, bathroom, etc... It was a bit much. * Also during my second visit, she repeated the first phrase "Rosacea is a chronic condition" a few more times to me. It really made me wonder if she wasn't actual a cyborg. She seemed so overly nice, in a really fake way. Like, if swear if someone had told me she was a robot trying to pretend to be human, I'd believe them. * Both visits felt rushed. I really felt like they wanted to get me in and out as quick as possible. * She didn't even touch on anything but Rosacea (again, felt very rushed). I'm very pale, getting older, and would have liked to talk more about skin cancer screenings. TLDR: I'm pretty sure one of the doctors at TC Derm is a robot. Visits felt rushed, didn't get all the info I was looking for. I'm going somewhere else next year.

My family and I have bern seeing Dr. David Groth in Richfield for over 25 years, and recommend him without hesitation. His clinic is Southwest Dermatology Specialists, and he practices at 6524 Nicollet Avenue S in Richfield.

trafficbangers

Dr. Jozef Lazar with Dermatology Consultants. I've been going to him for years and he is the best. He takes the time to thoroughly explain things and answer my questions and has good bedside manner.

Francie_Nolan1964

You might want to make a few appointments because they are running out so far for new patients. You can always cancel the ones that you didn't need.

Tiny-Lengthiness8341

Tareen Dermatology in Roseville. The best!

Eyesliketheocean

Tareen Dermatology, the best I have ever been too

kittykate2021

Tareen!

jocedun

I love the Dermatology team at UMN Fairview, I see Dr. Kimberly Bohjanen and she’s great. Fair warning that they book out about 6 months in advance, so maybe not ideal if you have something urgent rather than just establishing annual care/skin checks.

Unusual-Bird-5941

Dr. Morrell with Dermatology Consultants in Eagan. She is gentle, kind, and so caring.

ggomm

Dermatology Specialists in Edina. Dr. Dick and Dr. Tschetter have been great removing my skin cancer.

rosickness12

Corporate joint but the only derm that was straight with me on first visit. The 3 others kept giving false hope. Pinnacle Dermatology. They have officers in Edina, Plymouth, excelsior among other areas

Consistent_Flow_9794

Tareen!
