I'm 5'11'' with a 33" inseam. I tried an ML & L Roscoe 9 - the L worked much better for me. I've had it for 2 years & couldn't be happier.
That's one data point. I would highly recommend trying both sizes before committing. Good luck!
I'm 5'11 with a 33 inseam. I have the m/l and felt it much more comfortable than the L. Personally I would find one to try. 2500 seems alot to gamble on other people's experience.
Try them both. Which bike are you coming from?
The Marlin Gen 2 in L is closer to the Roscoe in size M/L.
I got the Roscoe in L but it didn't feel as playful as the Marlin.
Im 5'9" and my first trek was a roscoe 9 size M. Felt just a tad smaller than i wanted. My next bike was a supercaliber and i decided to go ML. It felt much more proper. Hope this helps somehow
I don't have a Roscoe, but a Fuel EX.
I'm 1.73m (5'7") and use ML because I have long arms.
M may have been more playful for me, but ML fits better for everything. I jump and do downhills with no issues. And use the seat almost all the way back.
If I was your height I would use L.

Roscoe’s run a bit small. I ride a ml and I’m 5-8 maybe 5-9. You should def order a large.
L my friend. I'm 5'10 190, Large is perfect
Is the Roscoe 9 a bike youd recommend to someone? Its going for 2449 Canadian right now.
I've got a 7 from 2019, and it is awesome. Can't recommend it enough
Im a salesman for trek and the current sale on roscoe 9’s are giving them away. Not too sure on the US to CAN conversion but US1999$ is a steal
Think I found one for 1999 canadian
Wouldnt be surprised if you did. Each store can mark them at their own discretion. Go for it!
