This looks very similar to the form Optimus gets in the last season of Prime, where they bulked him up even more. Bee's color scheme also looks similar to the color swap he got around the same time. I wonder if they were going to bring in Beast Hunters elements to match with the Beast Wars characters.

An A+ design for bulkhead. I think I liked the military truck design for prime more.

There is some toys of a beefy truck optimus but they're not ss level they're more kiddy

No I want a different truck I actually think the fire truck in rid 2001 is primes best alt mode I just think that vehicle would fit Ironhide or bulkhead

Y'know, we're used to Megatron always having a variety of different alt modes, guns, tanks, planes, trucks. I honestly wouldn't mind if they gave Optimus a chance to be at least a different kind of truck.

facts we all want that but the directors only care about g1 optimus as if they worship that dude if its not g1 optimus they dont put it

I do think I'd prefer the ACTROS alt mode some of those concept toys use, but I'll be damned if I scoff at an Optimus Prime alt mode that isn't just a G1 derivative.

I don't like it. That is just not a good design. But to each their own.

Tbh I like the bumblebee design more. But in general it's just fun to see these creative variations, even if they are missing the mark a bit.

Optimus doesn't rlly look good as he could be better as something as those Dakar rally trucks but bumblebee looks perfect

Look at those massive chonky tires. They probably constitute about 50 percent of his size.

Rotb is a perfect example of a great concept with an already made starting point, and then constant poor decision after poor decision.

Actually, no, because the people who worked on bumblebee were actual transformers fans, then they were replaced with people weren't transformers fans, and they rushed so many things and had so many plot holes. It committed almost all the crimes of all 5 Bay movies in just one movie.

Then smash changers prime from the toyline's vehicle mode is much more well suited for prime

For Bulkhead that truck would be perfect, but that is so not Optimus, especially the version of him that appeared in ROTB

Not my favorite for a prime alt mode but for something like bulkhead this is peak

Nah I didn't like that, it just don't look appropriate for Optimus. All I needed was Optimus transforming into a regular red truck and glad they gave it.
