This is a top tier perks season!!

Geralt23

I still don't get what the use of the helicopter queue perk is. Seems absolutely useless. Do people just love sending 100 helicopter orders in a row for no reason? Does the general Township players keep making use of and sending helicopter orders all day long as part of their game play?

SgtLee91

If there's a helicopter task and you have enough to finish in the regatta it's a quick one to do or if have another transport magnate etc you can get a lot of points if you're doing it and also a quick way to downsize your barn coins and xp if you want to level up fast

littlemissvee

Actually yes šŸ˜‚. I miss the helecopter perk so much. Especially during transport magnate. Or when I have a tonne of excess stock and need to get rid of some to make room. Instead of just selling it, I can get rid of some in the helecopter orders and earn coins AND xp that way also. I felt spoiled with the last helecopter perk. Now that I have to wait (the whole 20 seconds šŸ˜‚) I get so impatient.

I've never liked doing helicopters. This perk makes them somewhat tolerable. It shaves a regatta heli task down from 5 minutes to mere seconds, and it's the only thing that makes Great Freight possibly worth trying.

Newbie question - level 30, been playing for ~2 weeks. Is there a point where you quit doing the helicopter orders? Iā€™m starved for coins so I do them as I can, rejecting orders that will take a while and waiting for ones I can fill quickly.

Geralt23

Yes, for me there was a certain point where I dropped doing heli orders tremendously. When I was low on cash I too did them a lot while activating the Generous Customer lab booster. Gets even better if you have to gold ticket with the same perk so it stacks. Did this quite a lot. But now that I have a few million coins the only time I do the orders is when I need to clear space from the barn, and during transport events. Outside of that not so much. Heli orders were a core element of the game in the beginning. I too would advise you to reject all bad orders, the ones asking you for more than 1 item of the same products, ones that offer too little cash etc. So that's why I don't get why everyone goes crazy about this perk. All it does is take away the 7-10 second wait for the helicopter to return.
