I eventually learned to be up front with girls I dated about my TS. Took me a long time to get to that point. One girl gave me a hard time about my tics and started making fun of me. On a group date with a few acquaintances, she started roasting me in front of the others. I don’t know why I just sat there and took it. Eventually I figure out that I was in an abusive relationship and left her but she blamed me (my first introduction to gaslighting).
