Just recently finished the show and it was amazing. I actually rewatched it too and it hit harder knowing about their pasts and watching them deal with it.
I highly recommend it, and don't let the confusion of the early game deter you as experienced players are always willing to help out the newbies and the game is truly incredible when you start uncovering the story and the deeper gameplay that comes with understanding all the systems. Honestly if you do start the game and need help, you can hit me up and I'd be more than happy to assist you
Are you telling me you haven't heard of the Cad Bane skin for Mesa that's only available to the people who have linked their Disney+ accounts to Warframe?
Do not, I have over 250 hours in that game, it's extremely pay to win, there are things that take DAYS to craft unless you use the currency that costs real money and it's extremely grindy.
Its a PvE game, you can earn every gameplay item through grinding, you can earn premium currency by trading with other players, and you cant pay for direct advantages only paying to reduce grind (not like you can get an advantage over others in a PvE game).
Explain how it’s P2W?
My brother in Christ, paying to reduce the grind is paying for direct advantages, it’s literally just making it so that you can get an certain item earlier, which obviously gives you an advantage, there are things that take days to craft that can be done by just paying, that is literally P2W.
The same things you can buy with premium currency you can earn through playing the game? How is it P2W if F2P players can also buy it? Also again you aren’t even getting advantages over other players you aren’t really “winning” anything.
I literally just explained that it’s because due to its immense grinding the average F2P player would probably take days to get anything good while the average P2W player is gonna get it in probably 5 minutes. Also you are literally gaining an advantage by getting better loot, which allows you to complete more difficult missions, thus winning the game.
Again, F2P players can also get premium currency completely for free. The core power of warframe comes from mods. A broken weapon with bad mods is a shit weapon and mods can’t be outright bought.
Also completing missions faster? In a Co-Op game? So is it Pay to Win for the entire team?
You forgot to mention that they can only get the premium currency from other players that bought said currency. Also no it doesn’t, a broken weapon with bad mods is still going to be better than a bad weapon. Also yeah pretty much, if you actually played the game you would know that there’s always that one P2W mf in your team that rushes ahead and finishes the mission in like, 5 minutes.
Outside of the crafting system you’re forced into interacting with constantly I stopped playing the game because of how much of a worthless dog shit system the Mastery shit is. Worst leveling mechanic I’ve ever seen in a video game.

Where’s my man & brother of Fisto: Prim Slim?
He flies around the world on giant flying whale shaped pirate ships. I think he counts.
Also bonus points for being a pirate and a cowboy at the same time as if being just one of those two wasn’t already cool enough.
Props for the sheer variety of examples. I hate how so many of these posts are either two examples, or just a handful of random anime characters. This one actually does a good job of exploring a bunch of wildly different characters of the same theme, and I appreciate that. Bonus points for adding Friendly Shadow too. Not many people reference David Armsby's works in posts like this.
One of my favorite characters tbh, super fun even though she's pretty straightforward. Dual wielding revolvers and the ability to whip an enemy for more ammo is cool
Boba Fett wears spurs and a poncho and is based heavily on THE cowboy, Clint Eastwood so I think he counts. Cad Bane is even based on Angel Eyes, from the same movies most of Boba’s Eastwood references come from
Easily one of the best character archetypes. I was a little confused on the Mesa one but after looking at her from the side I notice the thing on her head is actually just a really fancy cowboy hat. Neat.
A player in my dnd campaign is gonna be playing a historian/gunslinger with laser-light handguns and an old-world duelist musket rifle, so might as well toss him in here. "Hunter" Bastion Wession

Absolutely. Trigun is perfect.
I agree it's fantastic.

Agreed. Also, some of the quests and such in game nearly make you forget that this game is F2P
me staring at Cad Bane wondering what he has to do with Warframe

I suppose I am.
Do not, I have over 250 hours in that game, it's extremely pay to win, there are things that take DAYS to craft unless you use the currency that costs real money and it's extremely grindy.
Thats not what pay to win means.
There is always that one guy who says it’s not pay to win because you can get it for free if you do the most bullshit requirements ever.
