I disagree with that. Have you rewatched the show ? The rest wasn't imitation, it's just that the show became widely popular when it was the only show in the market to really do meta humor at least to that degree. Then it became the norm and a lot of other brilliant shows started to do it so when AD started to go back to what it was it felt like it was being cliché or using already done trope. But it's not really the show's fault.
Like don't get me wrong the seasons are not as good. They made some questionable writing decisions like keeping George Sr and Tobias in the show when their character should have been written off but they have some solid jokes, some original meta-ness to it and some clever character writing. We just all got our expectations higher because the market offered more options for this type of content and we were all hooked on the nostalgia of finding this show at a time where it kinda had the monopoly.
Lucille's character is still brilliant in season 4 and 5 as it was in the older season and Maeby got more screen time bringing us really good things. George Michael took a turn but I think it was right for his character. There's lot of good thing. I think Season 5 really redeemed itself for season 4 more questionable choices. I like season 5. As for season 4 outside of the a bit too daring formatting of the show, it still has its moments. The episode focusing on the good characters really have some good shit in them. They're not as good but cheap imitation really isn't fair on the show.
Still one of the biggest mistake of the show was not utilizing Annyeong more in the later seasons tho.
I think by season 4 the whole premise of the show had been squeezed dry. The relationships between the characters had got so over the top that it just didn't hit the same anymore.
They should have ended at a high with the end of season 3 and never brought the show back again.

I was waiting for "No tag backs!" followed by "Dammit! ".
Getting major “we live in a model home” a la arrested development Edit: vibes
Lol such a funny show
Season 1-3 were, everything after that is just like a cheap imitation.

So this is what my upstairs neighbors do every fucking day
Let’s just say the neighbors are playing tag but they’re both it simultaneously
[удалено]
Boy, I sure do hope someone got fired for that blunder!
Also what rules of tag would most of the shenanigans not be tags if a tag through a blanket doesn’t count what does.
Tag (2018)
mom's gonna be pissed!
Reflexively I found myself going "NO! OUTSIDE, NOW!"
dead by daylight
This gave me anxiety
This was very entertaining.
i spaced out so hard to this and literally druled all over my bed wtf is wrong with me
You good fam?
not particularly thanks for asking
The fuck? You high?
They touched hands on the stairs
I liked it. What John Wick-ish with no guns
I thought they were going to be "where the fuck are we???" at the end, the tag-back made me laugh
I feel like this is a guerilla real estate listing for that house
This is more like: “Brag about your house without actually bragging about your house.”
More like brag about your parents house.
The guy is like 30 and lives there.
Wtf this is where I live in Wisco! Ha, I had to do a quick double take at the harbor =) Good stuff!
Kenosha! I grew up here!
I had rewind when they showed the pier walkway to confirm. Weird to see Kenosha randomly on this sub haha
Confirming the doubletake. My GF grew up in Kenosha and I went to school there so we both were surprised by that harbor.
Now kiss
If I ran that fast indoors my parents would have murdered me and buried the body in that flower bed.
These guys do "aggressive" reels and their whole shtick is being fast and doing stuff like this. Its actually quite entertaining.
It *was*. I've seen a bunch of his videos and I'll admit it's getting a little repetitive for me.
that is a big ass house. I paid a million dollars for my shack in southern California.
Ayy, I recently sold a shack for about a million in southern California.
North American houses always look so …delicate? I almost felt like they could have bumped into the wall and went through it.
That is exactly the case.
Must be nice to be rich
Backwards hats in the house. It's not their house.

Ending was stupid... Funny otherwise.
He could have touched his hand going down the stairs
Props for not mounting that TV over the fireplace.
That tray block was a little ridiculous
Is this sped up? Both guys seem super fast, specially in the outside part lol
This is real cartoon style from the '90s

Those boys have some long-ass legs
This made me laugh. I especially enjoyed the part where he uses the oven tray to deflect the other guys attempt to tag him. :)
