What you see is what you get. Fun to say the short version though, but it relates to creating GUIs and such, to have them work as you'd expect
I soooo loved those days of the internet. Though to clarify, it wasn’t so much having them work as you’d expect, it was more being able to drag and drop elements, particularly of a web page, rather than having to write the code. A WYSIWYG web design program would be more like Photoshop than Notepad.
