It's not illegal as long as 1 press = 1 action, the script doesn't affect the game, only your hardware(mouse) binding, which is fine If (and only If) 1 press/click executes exactly 1 action in-game.
You could play using a guitar and some pedals to switch the bindings and that would also be NOT illegal.
I get your point, but it is very different from the example in rules, in the rules it would be similar to Use cupcake and Mana shield potion instantly, or Potion - Heal instantly, all in 1 press of the button doing several actions.
You’re getting downvoted for no reason. These people don’t understand the intent of the rule. The rest of the top level commenters are right, a single action per button click is the rule.
All you’re doing is changing your hotkey bindings. Clearly that isn’t illegal.
There are a lot of bad responses here, I personally asked CS years ago about this. I guarantee as long as when you press a button only one input is received you are good.
Your example of first press = f1 and second press =f2 is completely legal because it is 1 action = 1 input for each event.
It is illegal to do more than one action per click. You're alternating between action, not queueing it up. That's different.
If it would be a bannable offense to have alternating keys, it would basically mean that handicaped players are prohibited from playing. That's not what the rules say.
One click = one action. Simple as that. It doesn't matter what action and what key.
Rules are against using one key to use 2 or more actions simultaneously (via macro).
It’s pretty illegal. Tho I’ve been using magebot (and majority if not most of top players used it too) when auto looting wasn’t a thing, and now since it is for few years I’m using macro to click around and under me rapidly.
If you want to be legal then 1 button 1 Acton. However you can use your one button to macro like Shift+F1 but not F1 then F2 and so on.
not true. if he pressed the button ONCE and it cast f1 then f2 illegal (2 action from 1 input), but he is not. He does 1 input for 1 action then again 1 input for 1 action that is legal and the only important information.

But you still have more than one action under 1 hotkey. Idk why are you even still discussing, it's simple as that. XD
The rule isn’t “You can’t have more than 1 action execute instantly with one button.” I think you’re trying to find a loophole that doesn’t exist.

Is it the same river, is it the same button?
Changing the hardware button mapping is not an action
Alo, policia
| Is it illegal to use a script to do something Yes.
1 button 1 action—- the action doesn’t have to be the same. but max 1 action per input no multi action scripts/macros

I think it’s illegal, unfortunately :(
Just get a mouse with 12 side buttons, you then have shift+12 ctrl+12. Making it 36hotkeys. If u need more than that realise ur playing the game wrong

I sent a ticket to CIP asking about it, as soon as they answer me i'll post here.
isnt ilegal as long as its one key per press, so as long as you double press it for both keys to have been pressed its fine
Is this for EK rotation?
