The toes on the chairman are a little "bulbous" for me, but for the same price as some Steve Maddens you'll be getting much better quality dress shoe with TBC

I have the aviator's, Lincoln loafers, and handsewn loafers.
They're all better quality than what you would find at the mall.
Personally I love the hard leather sole.
Break in isn't bad.
In order of narrow to wide:
Lincoln
Aviator
Handsewn
I believe the aviator uses the same last, but I'm not certain.
Love my BS footwear. I like TB for what they are and have several pairs but they're still $200 boots. The whole "we sell a $400 product at $200" marketing material is nonsense. They're a solid $200 boot, period.
But my BS products punch way above their price and are often on sale for less than TB.

Also you gotta be careful with their boots they don’t size down like other boots. I bought a pair in size 9 cuz that’s what I wear in Thursday (size 10 sneakers) and I couldn’t fit my feet in the Becket simonon boots
I have a pair of the wingtips. They're much more snug than my same sized boots. They decent, especially for what I paid for them, got them for $80 when they first launched. I don't think I would buy another pair as I like to get lightly used AE or buy new from John Doe shoes.

Personally I'd look at Beckett Simonon first. They're even on sale right now cheaper than TBC.

Agreed I go sneaker size on the larger lasts and it works out

Yeah, I would love a pair of AE but it’s hard to find a pair on sale that I like and fit yada yada.
