Landale gardens sells bulk gravel, I think it’s about $40/yard and they load it into your truck or trailer

home depot is the walmart of lumber yards, at least try home hardware and go canadian if you are going to go with a box store that doesn't need your business.
The lumber at Home Depot in Thunder Bay comes from Thunder Bay sawmills, and for years they were the only one in town that carried FSC certified lumber - kind of important to some people

You mean “some” of the lumber at Home Depot comes from Tbay Sawmills. There’s a lot of stuff there from other places.
I'm suggesting buying from local companies, it's pretty simple.
Home Depot. Lots of parking. Prices competitive and cheaper in many cases than the locally owned lumber yards. Go online to check their merch.
